Agreed - I think GH and co know what they’re doing here - they know it’s worth and want to maximise shareholder value here - thinking we’re in v good hands

Going back to the point of the board - we’ve got a game changer on our hands here

Gold supply is in difficulty around the world - tefler newcrests 25moz resource is a prime example of this as there is not much shelf life left - newcrest have assessed and imo know that Havieron is equal if not more than tefler and the way they’ve approached this shows me that they really want this and rely on this and know that this will be their next giant resource

1. They’ve mentioned Havieron from general exploration at the back end of last year to making it their prime Exploration project in a short space of months
2. They highlighted in their half years report Haverion as 1 of 4 main highlights to all their shareholders
3. In presentations they’ve touted and praised Havieron and in fact I recall going out of their way to mention it to their institutional shareholders such as ubs
4. A company like newcrest is a giant approx 24bn and under much more stringent compliance than an aim company so they chose their worlds v carefully esp to their shareholders who are banks etc so them praising Haverion and saying it’s their tefler replcement is v v strong signal imo of something big here
5. The rigs have gone from 4 in December to 8 confirmed by half yearly and from the images from paddy i believe we have 10 now all running 24/7 that’s a massive up scaling in 4 months
6. They decided to advance the budget by 25m
7. They got to stage 3 of the farm in half the time expected
8. Recent reports are now saying that Haverion is being compared to kalgoorlie super pit in Australia - that’s v v v big as kalgoorlie produces 8% of Australia gold
9. Recent step outs show they are also drilling other areas ie sw meaning this could be a lot bigger than first anticipated
10. Now what’s important to me is that recently newcrest took out a 600m loan for make their overal cash balance 1.4bn - the last time they had a similar cash balance they bought Red criss cash in 2019
Imo they had 800m already cash in hand for operating costs in 2020 so why take out 600m extra when 800m is more than enough to keep them operating .
Imo they’re readying a bid for the company - I don’t think it’s immediate but I think H2. But newcrest could get itchy fingers and go for it early to thwart bids from rio tinto who have been recommended before to go for gold.

Either way we are in gold hands here as imo any bid has to be at fair value and additionally the only trajectory is up here as we are sitting on a game changing asset so either way we greatlanders win!

Based on newcrest activity you can ascertain that this is just getting bigger and bigger and we’re sitting on what is a once in an era gold find (per newcrest themselves)

Newcrest recent activity show they want to get to a certain point and then imo bid for evrything I assume early H2 but with the speed they operate it could be before esp if a company like Rio tinto come
Knocking and best of all it has to Be at fair value - and by judging in the activity of newcrest they know this is big and need this for their future

1. Newcrest are rushing towards maiden resource estimate

4. Took loan out of 600m making total cash 1.4bn - you don’t take out such a huge amount unless you have a use for it - last time they has about the same cash balance they bOught Red Criss in 2019. History seems to be repeating itself here with newcrest known to being an aqusisition based company
5. Touting Haverion to all their major shareholders ie ubs , in all their publications as primary exploration reports . Saying it’s 1 of 4 highlights across whole business at presentations - shows this is v v important to them
6. Saying Haverion to replace tefler a 25moz resource itself meaning Haverion has to be the same or bigger ie 25moz+ to appease shareholders and the market otherwise they wouldn’t publicly state such a Thing and as this is a huge company 20bn Mcap they have to be careful what they say
7. Saying it’s the best gold grades ever seen in the areA is very telling by newcrest
8. The recent step outs in the Non main areas shows they think there is a lot more here than we first thought

All in all We’ve got total upside here With huge upward trajectory and now the sp is approaching where it should have been for months and we’ve still got many many multiples here on this giant asset.

Let there be a bidding war, let newcrest get their cheque book out, or even if this continues we know we’re sitting on the golden ticket on aim here so we’re going to get fair value and that’s many multiples from here

‘drilling footprint has expanded dramatically in the WSW and SW, SE and N of the existing Havieron drilling grid. Why that should be we can only speculate, however there is the possible conclusion that Newcrest have discovered significantly more mineralisation outside the previously defined limits‘

We already believed it was a 20moz+ recourse but now could it be 30-40moz+

All the clues are adding up here for what imo is a take over

1. The speed at which newcrest are operating - from 4 rigs to 8-10rigs (basically on paddy sat) from dec to now
2. The advance of 25m
3. The start of stage 3 of farm in - which prim say was much much in advance of when it should have happened
4. The sudden 600m loan withdrawal by Newcrest which leads to a cash in bank of 1.4bn and last time they had such a balance they bought Red Criss cash in 2019
5. The huge promotion of Haverion at all the presentations in front of all the major investors ie UBS
6. As prim said all assets are 100% owned by Newcrest so v v likely this will be too and all of ggp as they’ve got other licences similar to Haverion
7. Newcrest publicly saying that tefler is to be replaced their in opinion by Haverion which means they want another huge resource to replace the 25moz telfer meaning it has to be same size or bigger

For me it’s simple this is a one of the greatest gold
Discoveries of a lifetime and with gold scarce globally this only adds more weight to why newcrest want it all

With Havieron being promoted by them massively and to all their major shareholders ie ubs imo it’s. A case if history repeating itself

Good thing is we know this is v likely a 20moz + level resource given the speed they’ve done it all and the way they’ve said it’s a tefler repalcement which is of that size

So it won’t be cheap to buy them out which bodes we’ll all the scenarios for us - super upside here and with pog going up that’s the turbo power we got

There is a pattern emerging here with Newcrest it seems as though they have identified a target and ensure a certain cash level is in their bank and the go out and do an acquisition

Last year they had earnt operating cash of 800m (per the June 2019 annual report) and overall balance of 1.6bn whiz was a massive rise from the prior year - they completed the red criss aqusiitoon in August 2019 with intention to buy from March 2019

This year they aren’t making as much cash but have plenty to keep operating as normal so have got a $600m loan (so gone out of their way to ensure they have sufficient cash) to get to a total of 1.4bn in the bank.

Telfer has publicly been stated to be running low and on its last legs and Havieron has been identified as the replacement and a world class global discovery. Coupled with the fact that global supply of gold is low and so producers need to grab what they can. Ggp also have other licences with similar characteristics to Haverion so there’s more future opportunities there.

So it makes perfect sense for Newcrest have gone and gotten a loan and risen their cash balance to buy us out at ggp. They imo want full control
Here and have everything under their umbrella and it’s a case of when and not if now as they’ve show their hand.

I suspect that it will be H2 early like June/July. But given the way Newcrest have operated ie stage 3 in half the time, doubling rigs from 4->8 in mere weeks etc that it could be sooner

This is the most exciting prospect on aim and in general imo as it’s pure upside

‘As at 31 March 2020, Newcrest had cash on hand of around US$1.4 billion and access to a further US$1.4 billion of liquidity in the form of undrawn committed bank facilities.’

So they’ve got a $1.4bn usd war chest to hand another another $1.4bn usd ready

this is boding very very well for us now!! As we’ve all believed a massive take over will occur here imo from Newcrest.

Remember it’s got to be a fair value so we’re in for a huge rise and buyout price here.

Given the way that Newcrest zoomed to stage 3 (half the expected time) I reckon early H2 (June/July) this could be bought out but then again

They went from 4–>8 rigs in no time
They got to stage 3 in warp speed

So examples Of where Newcrest don’t delay they claim today so they imo they could do this bid at anytime when possible for them to do so
