Ocelot--I entirely agree 100% with you. A sad sign of the times but seemingly all so called social network sites encourage cowards who hide behind their avatars being able to say what they like to people they do not know. I just wish we could have constructive chat about UKOG--and a bit of lighhearted banter at times. I am of the old school being in my 70´s so do not find the need or urge to post to the world who I am with, photos of what I am having to eat at a restaurant--or photos of my kids and grandchildren---in fact I STILL have my old Nokia works mobile--oh yes I retired in 2004!! Scandic--No I do not think he is top notch, but I do think he and the board have made a lot of progress, we ARE on the cusp of something great--IMO--Agree he made a big cock up at BB by withholding price sensitive information--NO DOUBT--we all make mistakes in life and maybe he has learnt from that, and that is why he has been conservative with what he says?? Would have helped the market if he had been a bit more enthusiastic in his last RNS--he made it sound it was all a bit mediocre and maybe that is why market plummeted, there was maybe, a higher expectation. It is what it is. I am holding but if you think all is so bad , maybe you should bale out? Everyone expected a stella RNS and a high rise sp, instead of that we had the reverse. Hopefully if K4 is much more that expected SS can be a bit more upbeat??

Cockernhoe--I think--all IMO--that as we are in the infancy of these wells and still TESTING they cannot as yet, confirm how long the oil will flow---maybe they have an idea but want to confirm testing before making long term production announcements?

Willow--IMO how on earth is Winifrith still allowed to spout his rubbish?? Shows how weak our regulatory system is in the UK!!

Scandic--Why oh Why do you deduce that it is the directors fault that the sp has gone down. Market forces dictate that. The RNS and the prospects for the future are excellent---in fact a possible world beater for the UK--so how on earth is it SS fault the sp is down??

willow--Yes that will beinteresting--bearing in mind they ran out of time when they were there and the cock up in holding back the problems BB was not that good 1st time round. Better luck this time.
As to major coming in that really is up for debate. As yet we have a good amount of oil coming our and the prospects LOOK good. However, IMO, for a major to come in other wells have to be drilled in different areas to prove up the whole of the Weald and ares are linked, Flow rates have to be good and little dilution in the flo, THEN a major may well come in. I am sure many have their finger on the pulse ready t make a move if/when the time comes.

OK Sorry missed your reply last night. Agree the sp is undervalued with the resource now obviously available in the Weald, but that is the market and really nothing to do with SS---we areall p---d off with the sp. As to self funding---that depends on
1 How much oil they get out during the period of further drilling/exploration and
2 The value of a barrel of oil---and again that is down to market forces.

Good Morning Sageman---I did post you last evening telling you where you may find more information about these multiple wells---principally on the UKOG web site, if you scroll through you should find a good graphic outlining how these multiple wells would work. Hope you find them! BTW I certainly have NO technical knowledge but the graphics certainly are simple enough for even me to understand!!

Well what an historic week, Govt in disarray, Brexit pile of poo---only thing to REALLY look forward to is loads of OIL from The Weald and an EVENTUAL mega rise in the SP--but maybe not this year. That is where us LTH and patience comes into play.

Scandic---would not agree they are in BIG trouble but IMO they need a re-structure with SS taking a back seat and concentrate on getting oil out--for thats his forte---and leave someone with more get up and go to promote UKOG---He bought SOLO out in return for shares as UKOG did not have the spare cash---so he could get a bigger share of The Weald, not a bad thing, better to do it now and suffer the downturn in the sp whilst SOLO then offloaded its shares as they in turn need cash for other prospects they have. The sp downturn has been bigger than expected, but maybe better to suffer that now than later when UKOG get more oil out of the Weald??

Thorp--agree with your EYES comment, they do not represent the company--only freelance--we need a person to FRONT the company---someone like Richard Branson who is instantly recognisable.

Thorp--I fully intend to. WE are bound to get these hiccups along the way---although did not expect it at this time!! Maybe only 4 but IMO especially as we near the big time we need an enthusiastic front line person to promote the company and leave the others to do the technical work of getting oil out. SS comes over as a nice bloke but lacks the charisma sometimes needed to lift the company and make punters aware WE ARE HERE!!!. I have experienced the same effect in my working life. Sometimes there was nothing like going to see a motivational speaker to get you fired up!! Good w/e all and CHILL!!

Maybe SS will spend some of his w/e reading through the various financial social network sites and get a consensus that he needs to have some lessons in hyping up his RNS language--not lies, but with a little more enthusiasm that will then stoke the market. If K4 flows more than expected he needs to be jumping up and down!! Thats where his PR staff should come in---has he any???
