MIRASOL---If you care to go over to the UJO chat site 11.31 someone is commenting that he spoke to someone who says the RIG will be serviced at West Newton before coming down to HH---unofficial of course but maybe credible?

Sting--and finally to end this particular discussion--I left at 59 because I had burnt myself out earning good money to lay foundations for me and my families retirement. Always true to myself and an almost feeling of guilt when investments did not always produce the returns for my clients--invest for 5 years minimum not like AIM where most want a quick fix return. As with many I was begining to lose my family because of work--I was sensible enough to appreciate that! and thats it!!

It WAS nased on COMPLIANT work--unless you have been in The Business you would not know. WE only received payment when The Best Advice Team we had analysed thoroughly the business we had done before we were paid, and this could sometimes take weeks on big business and after searching questions to the FA as to the GOOD reason a piece of business was sold--sometimes even re-visiting the client for further clarification, documenting and getting the cient to re-sign--confirmation as to why other areas of a clients finances were not discussed etc--so please do not try and tell me it was based only on turnover not compliance--I was an Executive Financial Consultant and thoroughly earned my stripes--the company wanted me to stay on til 65 --I had had enough at 59 and left!

be one of your .1% of the good ones. THis I say as was rewarded with many trips to far flung places on Conventions for my 100% sound business. I have been retired for 15 years now so quite frankly I could not care a toss!! All I want now is some reward for my faith in UKOG and UJO and a couple of others--talk that The Rig is coming from UJO to HH--which it may well do but we have had no confirmation--so as yet all speculation!! The sooner it comes the better and put a stop to many silly comments!!

Sting--You seem to cast all you have had a bad or poor experience with as BAD and untrustworthy--like estate agents and Solicitors. I did not TRY to be an FA I WAS a good FA and did VERY well at my job and have many CLIENT endorsements. Maybe I am one of the few--in your eyes---who can hold my head up and say I did not sell any client a product or investment that was not fit for purpose I worked for an Ethical company Friends Provident who--if anyone stepped out of line--was out of the door like a rat up a drainpipe and there WERE one or two in my office--the rest were very compliant and proud of the work we did. Granted many were not so good, but I was not in their class. So an apology would be nice??

Ohmetoe---Sensible posts. I know I have been critised before for saying this but the 3.5m continues to be a mystery and as part owners of UKOG by being shareholders we deserve a little more respect from SS by way of informing us what the money is going or has been used for.The silence is deafening. Many say The Rig Will Come--maybe but so will Xmas Some say he is keeping quiet so swampies will not gather for the rig arrival, maybe BUT on April 11th an RNS on here stated in black & white we are finalising the rig agreement Yes?? Well if I was selling my house and my solicitor told me on 11th April they were doing completion documents for my sale and here we are 22JUNE and my solicitor has not called to tell me why we had not completed I would want to know why--it would be my money then and it is my money NOW!! When I was in Financial Services if I continued to ignore my clients request for me to call them and explain what what going on with their investment I would have been bought before my line manager to explain why!! Surley SS has a duty of care in dealing with the people who continue to support his company financially??

Good to have more media coverage from BBC up north, but as usual they do not interview anyone from oil industry or Govt--getting the UK economy going--more jobs--NO instead they interview protestors, this is typical of BBC---they will not stop this Steam Train--which has already left the station!!!!

OMETOE--Planning is nailed on!! have you not seen the posts on here saying so!! the longer Planning deferred the more nervous I am getting. SS owes us an explanation Now nearly JULY and on April 11th he told us he was finalising the rig deal We now need some STRONG leadership please

throwing another debate into the fire--who thinks we are fast approaching the time when SS needs to be replaced?? Let him concentrate on the OIL side of things and let a more experienced negotiator take control of the day to day running of the company. Many will disagree but this becoming farcical with the rig situation and the Planning debacle?
