E uro--well said about all being friends. This generally is one of the better boards--maybe because UJO are doing well ATM and prospects look good and of course I hope it stays that way.Be good if we could all be level headed, RESPECT---a word that seems to have gone in society---the views of others. It seems when a share starts to under perform the cracks start to appear and nasty posts are made and it all gets horribly personal. Shame we could not have a Sin Bin for peeps to calm down. Reminds me of the Ronnie Corbett series-- Sorry and his mother would say ---Language Timothy, maybe we should adopt that when things begin to cross the line?? GLA and HAPPY DAYS!!

Ginger--Welcome and a wise decision to buy in here. We all hope we make money --maybe a lot of money-- from our investment. Good luck to you. Make your own decisions and not what others may say to influence you.
This board--generally--has a good bunch of people but unfortunately, a sign of the times, you do get the ODD person popping in and out--weeding them out is key. Sting has his say and sometimes in an odd way. Thing is I do not believe he has put his money where his mouth is--so has no shares here at present. Always find it odd that people spend so much time discussing a share they have not invested in!! But each to their own and good luck, mate and hope you enjoy some good conversations coupled with a bit of LIGHTHEARTED banter!

Sting--It is natural to worry about work particularly when it is your own business. But can completely take over your life and you miss out on some of the OTHER important things in life**Your Family!! and your health. I worked like mad when my mother died and left her money elsewhere as she did not want step sons to have a share of her money. I worked really hard for TEN years often not getting home till 11pm! After gaining considerable success and into rich veins of business I had a light bulb moment and went downstairs to my wife and told her I was retiring and got my family back. Something to consider--when is the right time to sell your business on. Remember--you may have a lot of money but have your health and family around to enjoy it!! Good Luck anyway

Re--UKOG IMO and it is only a hunch--I feel there has been something fundamentally wrong with UKOG for some time. SS--the once lucid CEO on news and very upbeat has shut up shop for some weeks and that worries me. The fact that we were---almost--promised the rig situation was sorted on 11th April FINALISING--and here we are approaching August and nothing has happened. There are those that say--ah well he´s waiting for all the Planning issues to be sorted. BUT CATEGORICALLY he has said more than once the drills would be started by end of Second quarter, and now no explanation as to continued delays--OK precise dates on rig must be secret to avoid swampies invading . So to protect MY interest I sold out. We will see whether that decision was prudent but already with UJO I have made up my losses at UKOG I sincerely wish those who remain luck as no one can afford to lose money. But for me UJO has far far better prospects now with the CEO we have in charge here. He gives me enormous confidence where as unfortunately SS now does not

Oh Sting the things that went on behind closed doors. We had a girl who was always on the phone in the stationery cupboard to her b/friend and always wore a slip dress in summer with a zip all way down back and we lads always walked by her and unzipped the dress and took it off her shoulders!! No sexual harrasment in those days the girls loved it!!

Heids--SHHHH told you not to tell now the rumours will start!!! Ha Ha

Heids--oh yes as Junior you had to do all that but also cosy up to the customers--the old ladies loved me and said so at Christmas!!!

Selfish--Exactly did the same myself a couple or three weeks ago and already made up that UKOG loss and more!! Its times like this when it makes sense to sell at a loss!!

Sunday---I started my career when I left college , in banking. Those were the days when customers were treated with respect and you knew customers by NAMES not NUMBERS thats when I left You had Bank Managers that you go and have a chat with in private, and overdrafts and charges were very flexible and the manager helped the small business man!! Those were the days my friend I thought they would never end----but they did!!
