It ended the day down as 99.9% of the time it does. Don't worry folks it should be up tomorrow morning then about 3pm is the usual decline to negative territory.

Personal goldenrule is i dont day trade.

I'm long term so years rather than days. Roughly 10k holding so nothing in grand scheme of things. Not really fussed if takeover happens or not. Personally would prefer it not to be taken as potentially it has huge upside.

Not sure a mainstream banks takeover of Metro would get approval. Isnt the whole idea of Metro getting its licence in the early days that it would provide more choice to the consumer? To think a UK bank would take it over and destroy its new approach to banking makes me shudder.
