DR has obviously been invoked, AD and DCs will be the least of their worries. VMware and restorations of VMs whould be fairly quick. Like i said hope their backups are offline ones or recovery could be hopeless. This could take weeks to resolve, share price holding.

The cost per hour nust be huge, work from home just sat their probably unable to get on the VPN. Servers, cloud, network services mostly down I expect. Huge operation to get systems back up. If it's ransomware I would have thought there will be a huge amount of servers, VMs, desktops and laptops that will need to be rebuilt. Lets hope they have good backups and they are not affected. Other risks involve customer data taken. What a mess.
