The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Possibly Monday for an update now, or maybe later this morning would be ok. The FY results are due in around 2 weeks also.
When other large miners are still releasing financial and Q1 production results - there's no excuse for WRES to be late with theirs. We're only talking production from La Parrilla, and the numbers won't be huge, so in theory it should be easy enough to put a report together, regardless of the current situation.
Dreamingof, I echo your comments regarding the update. MM said mid-April, that's what we're expecting. If the update doesn't come this week, he's once again over promised and under delivered. He also said he'd keep investors updated regarding the Spanish lock down. So, have W recommenced operations at La Parrilla or not? We should have been informed immediately, and to that end, an update on the operational situation should have been released on Tues.
On the topic of Almonty - It looks like it was doing well up until May last year. Since then the SP has lost over half its value. It's certainly not doing any better than WRES at present.
No 7am RNS today then... It could come today or tomorrow. What's the hold up? There are a few sellers about, is it wise to sell right before news? I guess we'll find out soon!
It's probably a good job MM didn't release anything today with it being a poor day across the markets. Hopefully tomorrow will see a bounce and the news is good. See you all at 7am!
I bet the Spanish investors are eager to see the SP back above 0.4p. A gold update would certainly help... Although it might spike the SP, I think it would at least move it to a higher base... 7am RNS tomorrow!
It looks like sellers have dried out, you can't even buy 1m at the moment. Being quoted over 0.18 to sell a few million.
I'm expecting one RNS tomorrow to say 24 hour production resumed, along with the Q1 production numbers...

Deaths in Spain have really started to drop now, and It looks like the peak has passed for them. Take a look at this graph to compare Spain with other European countries: https://twitter.com/SharePickers/status/1249206501119582215/photo/1
I expect La Parrillia will be back to 24 hour operations by Wednesday. Wouldn't it also be nice to get a gold update this week? Somebody tell MM that gold is at it's highest level since 2013!
Something must be brewing mate. 8.8% up today. There's only a few million left below 0.2. I can see 0.25 being hit very quickly next week. Have a good weekend all!
I've noticed a few ISA transfers going through today.
It's currently 0.18 to buy a small amount. I was offered 0.175 for 7.5m... no thanks!
Looks like we're on for a blue finish for the Easter weekend!
5.3m buy just went through at a large premium of nearly 0.19.
It looks like we need some news now for the next leg up... RNS Tuesday to tell us the plant is back to 24 hour production. Shortly followed by a Q1 production report. That should hopefully see us back to the mid 0.2's?
We just need Tungsten and Tin prices to recover a little, get La Parilla up to 200tpm, get Rugua producing, then we should see a serious rise in SP.
That's good going Geng, I managed to get a few WRES at 0.11. The larger sellers seem to have cleared and the SP is holding up well against today's sells. I agree that this will move back up very quickly over the coming weeks. No reason we can't see 0.5-0.6 by July's production update.
I'm with you there Richardkaz. I'm amazed that so many decided to sell around 0.10, they should have been buying instead. This will move back into the mid 2's very quickly on positive news.
As usual, you get a decent rise and some starts dumping.
I reckon production will resume a week today to allow for the Easter BH.
I managed to get 600k yesterday below 0.15. I was a little slow this morning buying so had to just pay 0.17 for 1.5m. I'm still 2.5m away from my target... production update news due next week?
Agree mate, perhaps the plant shutdown period was longer than stated. I think we can expect tweaks and shutdown periods to last around 6 months. I'm not making excuses, but it is a new plant, and obviously there has been some contractor construction issues. Once these issues are ironed out, I would expect to reach 200tpm fairly quickly...
If they manged to produce around 20 tonnes in the last week of March (might be a stretch) maybe, just maybe we might hit 100tpm after they have finished the planned work in April - "In April, the Company will install cyclones on the spiral banks to enable greater control of the density of spiral feed which W expects to significantly increase recoveries."
The SP is a little volatile at the moment. It might hover around 0.10 for a few days.
