Just looking into the situation on the Bolivia elections and it seems that the Morales MAS party will win .... Luis Arce is the candidate. This will put the party back in power, who negotiated with Clontarf before the Bolivia elections. Hopefully we we see the MOU before Xmas then. Any idea what the value of this would be? Anyone? With this situation looking promising and meetings scheduled in Ghana for later this year, I see green shoots for Clon this side of Xmas; an early spring in the sp!
Agreed MR, ratification is a fundamental change for this company and will change from speculative and draw in demand for shares. Imho we should see a spike and then further spike on farmin. We also have Bolivia ... and by default I have invested in a lithium company but this is not something I am focused on and don’t understand yet the value of these medium
Sized salt pans that officials have told them to focus on. However, given the demand for lithium and the fact Bolivia have 50% of the worlds lithium resources this should be upside for the sp not yet priced in, whatever it is?
Just my opinion on timescales but reason behind Ghana is the PA has to be ratified via parliament. Parliament open in October therefore earliest this could be ratified is October. Bolivia is after elections or after 18/10 to be exact. If there is a run off then this will be held on 29/11 and if this is the case Bolivia will be Jan. that’s my guesstimates. Fingers crossed given the timescales you may get a second bite of the cherry?
Broom that’s my take on it as well. I am not worried about the cash side as Ghana should pull through by then and / or Bolivia. My guess is Ghana will happen in November and Bolivia Nov/Dec. GL
looks like We will have traction on the lithium in November, to be honest I am only interested in the oil and gas side abd understand well the potential value here. The lithium has been a bonus for me but will have to do a crash course on lithium valuations as no idea as to the value here. What do others value the potential here lithium / Bolivia wise. The oil and gas side for me is 100s of millions but lithium is ?
Good to hear from you Rise, it’s a matter of waiting. As of 1/9 Ghana flights resumed; it was a case of final meetings before ratification. Update will be provided this month no doubt; however what we are waiting for is ratification of the signed PA associated with Tano 2A block. Freeshare may have more insights?
Just building a position here note all my buys today recorded as sells. GL
Hey Pauly I am referring to the fact we will get news in the interim statement ie an update.
Ratification is in the hands of the Ghanaian gov, however there is a move to progress the outstanding PAs urgently, hence my opinion that if covid did not occur then we would have seen the ratification already. It is in Ghana’s interest to progress theses matters. Early Exploration when price is recovering and operational when the next oil and gas boom occurs. This is a good strategy ;)
Guys once we have ratification it will be the case for most PIs wishing they had taken the risk and bought in at these prices. The multiplier effect will propel the value of our holdings significantly. When will this happen, well it would have happened already if it wasn’t for Covid. We will get news in the interim statement next month.
Very low volume, no sign of large investors selling ; ) Ghana will now most likely be the next African oil and gas superpower; as Mozambique has serious security issues with growing Islamic extremist insurgency threatening future oil exploration, unlike Ghana whom has the protection of the USA as signed under agreement back in May 2018.
Tano 2 likely to hold multi billion USD of oil and gas Reserves and China will want to buy it. With US protection and Ghana move against corruption we should see our block ratified and the farm in shortly after. Expecting huge re-rate on ratification and upwards surge on farmin and exploration. A lot of focus politically in Ghana at the moment on oil and gas. Expecting news shortly.
