National Gas has announced plans for a 300-mile hydrogen pipeline along the east coast of England.

It will run through Teesside, Yorkshire and the Humber and into the East Midlands.

The underground hydrogen transmission pipe will connect some of the country's most important industrial regions.

National Gas programme director for hydrogen, Corinna Burger, said the project would drive "decarbonisation of one of the nation's most strategically important industrial corridors".

It is hoped Project Union will become the blueprint for a national hydrogen network for Britain.

Wouldn't make the price of oil & gas any cheaper as it's sold on the global market..

Anything negative regarding the YPF matter has recently affected the sp negatively. Hopefully I am wrong as I'm well under water currently.

I keep an eye on MarketWatch, ratings went up from 6 to 7 on Thursday, unfortunately with ITM not being traded in the US the platform doesn't disclose who the analysts are and what the price target is. I've searched but no info! Check out MarketWatch ITM.

Burford Capital initiated with a Buy at BofA

BofA initiated coverage of Burford Capital () with a Buy rating and 1,062 GBp The firm views Burford as “a unique business with performance uncorrelated to the wider market” and calculates that the company generates a “Cash RoTE” above its cost of equity and should trade above tangible book value, which it does not. The firm thinks the de-rating over 2025 was “overdone given the cash generation available,” the analyst added.

Burford Capital assumed with an Outperform at Wedbush

Wedbush assumed coverage of Burford Capital () with an Outperform rating and $14 The firm says Burford is a “unique special situation opportunity” as it is the only publicly traded pure-play litigation finance company. The shares offer “asymmetric return potential with a potential windfall” from the YPF dispute, the analyst tells investors in a research note.

Any chance of another tomorrow?

ITM Power, the Industrials sector company, was revisited by a Wall Street analyst today. Analyst from Jefferies maintained a Buy rating on the stock and has a p115.00 price target.

The company have said on numerous occasions that they are in active partnering discussions, going back months now and including in the AGM RNS. I'm sure those discussions would include gaining FDA approval for the registration trial. A decision on the path forward could come any day...

With a few more confirmed orders on the books, could the Chinese see ITM as a way in to Europe's green hydrogen market?
