Hi Nigwit ... thnx for that. I find that investment funds(not ethically based/declared ones nb) ...when push comes to shove and funds arent making decent returns, they.ll often revert to any share that makes money ...funds hate outflows(I know this from my work at Standard Life) of funds caused by pi runs so to spk. Biofuel effects on villages, mining of rare earth metals for solar panels( trashed communities/ moving of villages) etc have a dark side. Yes, the power sources may look green but the way they got there might not be. Nuclear ...Chinese ..at our future skill develooment expense. Everything has a price. Yes, oil may have it.s day, but not yet ...for me anyway.
NigW ... sorry Nig, meant to acknowledge you earlier ...apologies. Again, there appears to be a move away from oil but I.m sure it.ll be needed for long time yet. My parents village is surrounded by maize for biodigestors ...the traffic, due to large trucks etc, is unsettling the poshies. They.ll be tech changes(oil ones too) as well as other new developments ... remembering that the big leaps happen by serendipity historically. All good stuff ...I dont think Hur is being affected just yet, though it might. Equally, a war or two could change matters. Come on AM ...move ...
HappyTL ... hi. From the Morning star data, going back for the last 6months at least, a couple of ii yankies have been offloading steadilywhich hasnt helped the sp. The arbitrage play distorts too. POO has been the main variable though in Hurrs sp demise ...no doubt. Brexit wont have helped. IMHO of course. 1/1/19 Morningstar ...defo worth a look.
Nigwit ... some of the yankie ii.s have bn reducing their holdings for a while now. Jan 1st 2019 ...Morningstar fund report will tell us more.
Hi Yuyu ...way too complicated for simple me! My fig was just like ," How likely is it that it will rain tomorrow?" Just a % chance of success ie based on DrT.s expectations. Sorry Yuyu it wasnt meant as an overly complicated question. I didnt mention any factors that knock off the 20% either, bcos I dont want to be accused of deramping by some here ... I was careful ...and, I dont currently hold. I was just wondering what others think % wise. My issues isnt with Hurr but the general macro , non Hurr stuff. I think that the bod, BlueW etc have been spot on fwiw. The sp is too low , now, imho ... but why the mkt isnt recognising this is beyond me. I know the negatives, read them a million times before, and I.m not buying them.
What % chance of a successful foil etc do you think the mkt attributes to Hurr? Let.s see some nos. Given the sp hasnt done much except follow the sp almost directly in recent times as the engineering stuff has been brilliantly executed by Bluewater, I.m going for 80% chance of success. The market, I would argue, is looking at 55% ... chance. I just wondered what you guys reckon. Ps Aduk ... my sheep.s left gonad was pointing to Constantinople this morning as it wandered across the Bigg Mkt meadows...apparently it.s nuts only swing like this, when grsvitons are exchanged with the rare migratory squid in the Tyne.
Tkr ... really? Did the Germans and the Brits carry on with the footy over the following few months? It was just a kind hearted suggestion. As I.ve said many, many times, I.d the sp to rise strongly for the LTH.s who realise the risks here, but not for the blatant ignore all rampers. There looks to be a case here but exactly what, I.m unsure still. If SS and DL werent involved I.d be more positive that.s all. Trust is vital on Aim. Anyway goodnight.
Kp em right Amaja ...good man.
Escargot ...or DrT has aenormous, hidden pod of dolphins waiting to pull the AM to WOS in treble quick time. I can see Dr T surfing in his mankini behind the AM ... with a flag saying 'Robert does surf' ...or similar ...
Hi Primal ...thnx fella. I caught the 2 posts on here. Looks canny to me. People need to chill ... gonna be some very big contracts coming in soon. It.s just time now. Yes there are time lags but it.s gonna be good. Tk care ...
Sipp ...could there be some engineering ,highly visible, that points to future operational planning. The names Bond, James Bond, shaken not stirred ...
Fools article ... about right ... 39000 in reserves ...love it ...that might go up very soon of course after the cpr. Odd to publish such an article knowing new data will boost the sp. I suspect they.ll be some dodgy paid reasons he published it ie get the sp down. Oilies tend to be rated on reserves, he knows this. Very shoddy for me ...typical poor Fool stuff. I did point out the cost of the Isle of White play ie nowt really ...if it were that good the price would be way higher. I.ve always thought 0.4p to 0.7p would be a saner valuation. Still think his methodology is floored. Mine is based on the idea that cash will be a real issue . Merger Angs/Ukog ...way to go ... Ankog Oil ... awesome
Thanks for that Amaja. Is there any teason Bluewater would ask for pics to taken down? Have they bolted something new on the AM that they dont want us to see? Oversensitivity? Pirates off Sunderland ... would give them roping points when the hairy chested mackems try to board the AM via a dug out canoe, looking for waste food such is their plight these days. Bit overthetop dont you think. Also, it makes me laugh that Amaja just picks up the phone and gets sailaway times. Top secret ...not!
