I agree with what Lsesar said
If a rns comes out and it's good
This will fly north
If the rns is not good ,it will tank to single figures
And if the RNS is poor and it does tank ,selling maybe hard or impossible ( seen it happen before many times ,)
If RNS is good ,it may open up substantially higher than the days befores close price ,then climb and climb ,
The way I've always looked at these situations is
If your out ,and monitoring the news and so closely ,you can get in and yea maybe miss out of the opening rise or initial rise ,but you can still get it and make some
If your in and news is bad , by time you do get to sell ,you may have lost a substantial chuck of your investment,
So it depends on your risk threshhold
Aim is often not investing ,it's often gambling
And cos I'm not good at gambling ,I'm happy to be currently out ,and will buy in if the news is excellent and she share price reacts accordingly, ( yes I'm aware I may pay a bit extra for share than before good news )
