Copper unit revenue per tonne decreased due mainly to an increased proportion of copper units sold as copper concentrate versus copper cathode. The copper units in concentrate are sold at a percentage discounted below the LME copper price which has the effect of lowering the average traded copper price.

Since last year copper has gone up over 30%

This is $2,500 a ton on bottom line profit or an extra $10 million profit a year on production of 5,000 tons.

When not if we get to 25,000 tons a year the figures will be breath taking.

I believe we are in for an interesting year with copper climbing towards $12,000 next year.

Some say could go to $14,000 a ton with in the next two.

It will be interesting to see if any directors buy any more shares when the window reopens for them to buy.

Year-to-date, copper is up 30% on the LME as investors pile in - both on the lucrative U.S. arbitrage trade that is fueling shortages elsewhere, and on long-term structural demand from the "Next AI Trade" and major power-grid buildouts.

Commenting on copper markets, super-bull Kostas Bintas of Mercuria told Bloomberg that the U.S. tariff arbitrage is draining global inventories and is about to ignite another leg higher in prices.

"This is the big one," Bintas told the media outlet in an interview during an industry conference in Shanghai. "If the world keeps going like this we will be left without copper cathodes in the rest of the world.

I look at this deal as a good one.

I suspect we will see further announcements of joint partnerships with both companies.

Copper will continue its strong growth and so will my holding.

Just need production,profits upwards and cost controls to be controlled.
