Hi all, I have started this new thread specifically to create a space for those who want to pursue personal arguments in public. Let the squabblers squabble. THX is making money for us day and night. I expect a continued gradual uptrend even before the next big news, as more people realize that THX is for real - building value on several fronts with relatively low risk for a miner. The entry fee for THX is a little higher now, but if you look forward, the best is yet to come. Segun is somebody who is very cautious not to create expectations without good reason, but he has been providing strong signals on mine life extension, on building a bigger mine in Senegal (100% self-funded), and now a new, promising project in CI.

Sounds like a very unlikely idea. If Endeavour had their permits revoked by the Guinea government, they are probably not in the good books of the government there. In any case, if THX goes into Guinea, I will sell. Fortunately, THX knows that there is a lot of good exploration territory in more reliable countries.

"Markets expecting more??" The Q1 report was about as expected - great. No big surprises so no big move today. That doesn't mean that THX is fully valued, but the valuation gap is a little less outrageous. So don't expect big jumps in share price on a weekly basis. But cash generation and value creation continue daily. I am looking but not finding a better combination of strong profits, low risk and upside from new projects. And the dividend (still around 7%) makes it comfortable to wait for upcoming developments.

Yes keep adding. There is no new "crisis" at THX, manufactured or otherwise. And they are about to announce eye-popping cash profits. When the market becomes irrational, it's an opportunity.

With one of the highest margins of gold producers, and no debt, THX has among the LOWEST leverage to the gold price. Think about that and relax, the money machine is filling our pockets even while we sleep. Any dip is a buying opportunity. Practicing what I'm preaching.

Used to be, a THX pullback after a temporary high was 10 cents, now it's 2 cents. There are still some traders and jittery investors, but I sense that most shareholders now want to be 'in' and not miss the next leg up. Could come any day, as news unfolds.

Here is my understanding.

- Gold recovered is metallic gold coming out of the extraction process.

- Gold poured is when it is poured into ingots on site.

- Gold sold is just what it says.

Gold is not generally sold on the day it is poured. So at any time, there can be ingots on hand that are not yet sold. In any time period, the gold sold may be more or less than what is poured in the same period, but it eventually evens out.

Johncut, those who have been in THX longer realize that it doesn't track anything. It often appears to be negatively affected by vague biases and irrational fears in relation to other miners. All that means that THX has been and remains undervalued. At least now it has shown that it is capable of rewarding shareholders through the share price and through dividends.

There are way too many variables for outsiders to guess at the grades and production going forward - until we are shown a new mine plan. Generally, a mature mine (in the absence of major additions to reserves) edges towards lower operating margins until the margin falls to zero and the mine is mothballed. With THX's incredibly high margins, we can expect mining to continue for some years, but production and profits are not likely to remain constant to the end.

Yes when the price drops more than it 'should' on ex-dividend day, then it may be a buying opportunity. Of course there can always be other reasons for a drop - eg gold is down today.
