C7 - Nearly every other company on aim released an rns saying what the impact of Covid19 was on their operations. By the sounds of it our team have been out of the lab since the start of lockdown, which rather puts into perspective how advanced any development on our platforms has been. We did see Lindy showing the cameras round the labs, who has actually been doing the research on mice that has supposedly been going on, and where have they been conducting the experiments...not the sort of thing you can do from home I'd venture, no matter how amazing Lindy is.
A poster called @_griffx a researcher at UoN though seemingly not linked to Scancell tweeted this in reply to an acquaintance on the 23rd June...
"We’ve had Scancell the company go back this week, so I think they are our guinea pigs, our new institute is 800+ people from 5 different schools so it’s taken a lot of coordinating xx"
doesn't sound like the team have been working unaffected all this time as some have suggested. Disappointing this wasn't reported to us by the company.
the company can't even upload the SKY video to the website...In news there's a headline titled: SKY News: Interview with Professor Lindy Durrant which links to this morning's AvidiMab RNS... I mean FFS that's what £250K for a CEO gets you these days, I am literally at the end of my tether with Cliff... rubbish speaker, no deals, and can't upload a video to the website. Might as well bring RG back.
I've commented on the video on YouTube with more information about Scancell, if you all reply with more information and like the comment we can get it to the top of the comments, which a lot of future viewers will see.
Just had a look at the Cancer research centre for drug development portfolio which was updated in May, and guess what... Yup Scib2 still in exploratory stage. I mean FFS, this is taking the p**s now. In 2 and a half years we haven't progressed even to the pre clinical stage, let alone trial set up. I just cannot understand how this can take so long. They sorted the drug delivery system last summer and still no progress. Has anybody got any insight into why this maybe? Or are CRUK really that inefficient?
