Some selling taking this down even lower! I’m not expecting the January trading update to set anything on fire. However the spring one should have the Ardgowan distillery open and up and running. From the RNS in July 2021 we get 10% from the distillery and a unique whisky brand for Distil. I have looked at the Whisky on sale there and it is not cheap but sold in a few Scottish specialist sales locations and three in London.

Red Leg adverts on Facebook seem to have good comments on the Red Leg banana and tropical flavours which is surprising.

New directors in charge now and think a turnaround in the Spring will occur here, Ardgowan also produces the in house Blackwoods gin too which should at least keep the costs down

Can this drop any lower before then … MCAP is now bordering on silly cheap considering Ardgowan cost £20 million alone.

Hold for the gold in my opinion as Spring might be a very rewarding turnaround finally for shareholders

Savannah Energy have the monies, Nilepet have the links with Petranos and Wildcat have the MIU with Nilepet. Should become crystal clear by the end of February if it takes that long but keep watching from any announcements from all three. The oil needs to be running again asap

This year has been one of challenges and resilience. Yet, our commitment to hope and determination fuels my belief that 2025 will be a year of progress and growth for Nilepet. Under the leadership of H.E. Salva Kiir Mayardit, President of the Republic of South Sudan, and with the diligent supervision of the Ministry of Petroleum, we are laying the foundation for a brighter future for our company and our nation.

I am pleased to share that Nilepet is actively collaborating with our partners to expedite the resumption of oil production in Blocks 3 and 7.

Additionally, we are in constructive discussions with Petronas to conclude its divestment process in South Sudan, ensuring a smooth transition and alignment with our strategic objectives.

Looking ahead, Nilepet is firmly focused on building a path to sustainable growth. Key initiatives include:

1. Completing the acquisition of PCNL’s participating interest in the three Joint Operating Companies (JOCs).

2. Resuming oil production in Blocks 3 and 7.

3. Rejuvenating the Bentiu Refinery to enhance downstream operations.

4. Strengthening Nilepet’s cash flow to sustain operations, salaries, and support growth.

Despite the hardships we faced in 2024, I am proud to report that we have managed to pay salaries up to November and are working tirelessly to ensure December salaries are also disbursed. This achievement reflects our shared commitment to the well-being of our workforce.

As we embark on this journey, I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to Nilepet esteem board of directors members under the leadership of Hon. Amb. .In this regard, since the last announcement, an affiliate of Savannah has signed an agreement with another energy company to discuss collaboration in relation to the potential alternative transaction. A further update on progress, and associated matters, is expected to be made by the end of February 2025.

Savannah was to pay £1.2 for Petronas but failed to reach an agreement. Nilepet now have a MOU with Wildcat. Who is the Other Energy company mentioned…. Wildcat ….

Reminder from the fundraiser in 2021

The net proceeds of the fundraising will be used by Distil to invest £3 million (with the option to increase this to £5 million) in Ardgowan in the form of a convertible loan. This loan forms part of a total initial investment package of £11.4 million, which will be used by Ardgowan to build the Ardgowan Distillery and visitor centre;

· Immediate and longer-term benefits for the Company through the Investment, including distilling, new product development and small batch bottling capability, a physical 'home' for the Company's Blackwoods and TRØVE brands and access to Ardgowan's Master Distiller, the renowned Max Macfarlane, to help produce an own brand malt whisky for the Company;
