Ah, the classic non-techy question ;) I simply don't know mate :) I'll have a better idea some months down the line when she's thrown some readable shapes on the chart but as things stand she's likely to spike up n down like a yoyo until the market shows her hand via said shapes, whatever they may be ... They're just technically targeted SP projections mate - I don't make the numbers up, the market does ... Whether any of them ever get hit isn't down to the chart, it's down to the company delivering the goods to justify such numbers but they give you an idea of where the "price pressure" points, as I call them, may be down the line for trading opportunities; the one-eyed man and all that ;)

Techy chart projections mate, don't worry about it ;) Suffice to say that if you think this can get to c150p @ $43pb with $18pb profit then doubling that profit at $60-70 suggests it can hit my, current, top projected target of c288p - is it not so?

Markets work in 1/4s mate. So, 81.41p (top) - 12.62p(bottom) = 68.79p 12.62p + 68.79p (one quartile) = 81.41p 12.62p + (68.79p x2) (two quartiles/one half) = 150.2p 12.62p + (68.79p x3) (three quartiles) = 218.99p 12.62p + (68.79p x4) (four quartiles) = 287.78p You may choose to note that the first horizontal "shelf"/resistance on the chart is on the 23.60% Fib @ 28.85p for the 10x ;)

Or let me do it for you ;) Oil @ $70.

PS: You seem to know what you're talking about on the fundy guff side of things mate so if you wanna run your rule over the two fat Alaskan ladies play and see whether my totally guesstimated top target of upper teens can be reached with your slide rule then I'll look out for that over there - cheers :)

Mate, I know it's an African oily with whopping field(s). There endeth my knowledge ;) I barely understand any of the terminology you've used so, no, I haven't done any sums lol If you can see a fundy basis for c40p that aligns with my gap-filling 40s shout, that is based *purely* on the chart, then happy days cos I don't make the numbers/targets up, the market does and, clearly, they know better than all of us what something is/could be worth ...... The higher chart "gap" targets on offer are 56/63p so get yer pencil sharpened on those but do also bear in mind that if/when this beats 80p, I'm immediately eyeing c150p, however far away that may be in time so if you have *broad* timescales for how/when those kind of numbers could be seen then I'm all ears ... Be advised though that nothing more than cost per barrel/barrels per year/sale value of barrels will make it into my head before I glaze over ;)
