Trending is a combination of volume over a specific (I.E. shorter) period of time - it's more about short-term momentum than overall/longer-term numbers.

Yup, not my favourite music style at all but it doesn't matter as I'm not 18-24 years old.

This weekend is all about the tech, not the artists or production values.

As ever, if you want big numbers then you need big artists - NOBODY can gig this year so let's see who else pops up on MVR in H2 ........

Yeah this is clearly about showcasing the (amazing) tech rather than a million-Dollar production but production values are for the artist to worry about, not MVR. Again, get a Jay-Z on-board and it could go off spectacularly well.

All share stuff aside, I'm genuinely blown away by the tech, it looks astonishingly good.

I'm very much old skool so I've no idea on where the numbers are or what numbers to take notice of but my girl has the MelodyVR app running right now and it's mightily impressive IMO.

There's a lorra cash out there sat in people's/company's pockets ;)

@ HM - buys/sells are very often inverse-related to the SP as anyone who's been in this game for more than five minutes well knows - it's *not* a market.

BTW, I've just said "H2" and you've replied with "today" - you could also have said that "the SP was at 2s just a few weeks ago and now look at it" too ...

See how it plays out - BTW, I wouldn't take a blind bit of notice of how many "people" post here etc, it means nothing re whether you're going to get a decent win out of the play.

Again, I've no more idea than anyone else what may happen here in H2 but I'm interested enough to take a piece at 3s/4s while I still can if it does go mental anytime soon.

@lf - As you may have gathered, I have some "interest" in the entertainment industry so as soon as my local theatres started cancelling my pre-booked tickets for the Summer and extended my memberships for another six months for free etc my mind turned towards what could happen next and rekindled my interest in MVR.

I've been picking shares up in the 3s for a while now - in truth, I'm not in touch with the detail of the last six months or so here but it's the space they're in that made me take a few shares here recently. There's no guaranteeing anything as always but my god is this an interesting space right now and this mob have been doing it for long enough that, perhaps, they're able to answer "yes" / "right now" to the right kind of questions from the right kind of big players.

My position is big enough to keep me interested is all I'll say :)

As for the, apparent, tumbleweeds - take no notice, I've seen it all before over the years, one quarter nothing seems to be happening then the next day it's bagged+ when "they" decide to make it so - if you think you're right then just wait it/them out.

PS: If you think the recent name change to MVR from EVRH is nothing then guess again - branding baby ..........

These boards are all the same - multi-account pros looking to take regular PIs to the cleaners and regular PIs with £50 "invested" making the vast majority of the noise between themselves although this site is without doubt the worst for that and a proper 9-bob note in its own right of course.

Knowing LN as I do ( from a previous life) they most certainly won't just be sitting on their hands while C19 eats their (enormous) lunch - they'll do something ...

I hear you and, yes, bigger productions can require a staff measured in the dozens for sure but that's a bigger problem for musicals of course which don't (usually) do "small scale".

Theatre, however, can be viable with just one guy or gal on the stage so it's a different proposition in the main, hell, if it's all digital then the actors maybe don't even need to be in the same postcode as each other ;)

For my own part, I'm kinda begging someone to sort this out already as I'm pining already for my live theatre :)

Ultimately, as demonstrated by PL football, if the financial impetus is there then it will be made to happen, even if everyone involved is being tested for Covid19 twice per week as PL footballers are, it's just a matter of (probably not very much) time when you've got a catalyst like Covid19 at play ...
