A couple of big trades going through after the bell, would these be buys or sells, I think could be buys? any ideas. Last time this happened a RNS came a few days later about the takeover rejection by Hedin.

Just a thought, if Cineworld does close its doors, how long will it be before others are forced to do the same, and what happens then to the film studios who want to show their new releases, if there are only a few screens left, how do they make their money? streaming? its in the studios favour to keep cine afloat.

For Cineworld to steady the ship, an out of court settlement with Cineplex is needed, better settle a small amount than nothing at all, oh and the board needs to go.

As a holder who stands to lose all, on Monday a few things could happen, 1, a RNS issued to confirm the wsj story, with no further comment, that will sink the ship, 2, a RNS rejecting the story as selective downside picking of options, should steady or small increase in value, 3, RNS saying they have additional financial support , shares rise, 4, RNS stating in talks with another for buyout or merger, long shot, small rise, 5, RNS possible large holder increasing holding, positive rise, 6, RNS board standing down, fall in value, possibly end, 7, no RNS, another rough ride day, possibly share suspension. whatever, going to be stressful. Personally, I am hopeful for the long term, very long term. just my opinion.

Reading the press release, it implies that Hedin may have rejected the bid, so would that mean they are still in the hunt for the company, it will need a bigger then 29p bid, so could we expect Hedin to hit 30p.

Also a lot of unknown buys, would they be buys or sells? anyone have an idea.

Something strange going on today, mass buys, usually 30 - 50 per day, over 500 so far?

I see another broker rating today, same as last time but good to confirm, good buy for another continental buyer?

As the pound now continues to dive against the dollar, and as the bulk of profits are made in the US , that is in dollars, is this then converted to pounds to show profit levels? or are the profits ( a strange word for cine I know) in dollars, because if in pounds the profits must be getting higher? Just a thought from a small investor.

Seems they have just gone back to their February position, no great shakes, if they were concerned I would have thought they would have reduced by far more.

I am of the same opinion, its a good business, but worth more than the 28p offer.

Just read an interesting article about streaming in the US, Netflix, Disney and other streaming groups are being hammered by $1 fees for 'marketplace' viewing, Netflix losing $6.5 billion, which can only bode well for cinemas, also Netflix lost 1.5 million viewers in the UK, so could be the end of big budget film releases on streaming, if I was Netflix, buy a cinema chain .but I might be wrong.
