I viewed the RNS yesterday as positive. There was nothing in it which caused me concern. My faith in the BOD and the process was confirmed.
However... personally I am taking it as an indication that whilst everything may well be on course the timescales are perhaps longer than many anticipate.
I don't view the slight reduction in share price to be merited on the asset, but I would instead attribute it to people believing they have time to chase rainbows and still get back for the big one.
Nice to hear from the Company, nice to see that it is all being well managed etc, but I feel it is a reminder to be patient.
Just my thoughts, would be delighted to be wrong and for another RNS to follow in quick succession.
I don't understand why anyone would think a long FSP means the offers aren't in the right range.
If no one was prepared to get close to the director's valuations this would have been over ages ago.
That isn't to say a deal is a certainty, but the potential bidders have to be in the right ballpark otherwise they wouldn't be in the data room right now and we would have had the no sale RNS.
Something which may be worth remembering is that potential purchasers approached EUA first.
Would that itself not indicate that they had some form of idea of what would be involved?
Not saying AA is any more or less likely than NN or any other company, just it seems likely that the initial party to show interest probably had knowledge or connection to EUA or the area?
... or they threw a dart at a map and expressed an interest in the owner of the nearest asset...
Question about Blackrock...
I know some tracker funds bought in when we joined the index, but I frequently see people use that to explain all Blackrock purchases.
My understanding from the RNS released since Blackrock bought in is that they have generally increased their share, even when our Market Cap has reduced.
To me this conflicts with us just being in tracker funds because as our market cap reduces we become a smaller part of the index so surely Blackrock would sell more than they buy? Yes despite our market cap being 3/4 or so of what is has been Blackrock's holding has increased.
I have no idea what funds Blackrock are buying for, just speaking aloud. Would be delighted to hear from others with more knowledge on this.
Sorry to hear for the loss.
I would strongly advise you to take financial / legal advice as soon as possible. In particular on any inheritance tax and capital gains tax implications of holding the shares until the end.
Regardless of the potential outcome here, you may find that there are more tax efficient ways to deal with the inheritance.
I wish you the best of luck in your investing.
Well, not sure about anyone else here but I’m disappointed. Was expecting to be tipping up at 15p today!
Shame that the bots got it wrong. I thought they were very well reasoned and dependable....
Delighted to see another blue day, lifts the spirits whilst waiting for the end game.
In my opinion, should there be no sale, which I am not expecting, the share price will fall to a level and probably sit there for a while. Regardless of whether you have a stop loss or not I understand the chances are you would end up selling your shares for about the same price as the price will fall very quickly so you may not get paid at the price you set.
Just my opinion, and not intended to advise how you should handle your investment.
There is a lot of speculation on this board as to what the final share price may be. Whilst that is interesting I suspect the main reason we are stuck in our current range is that somewhat unknown timescale.
This is AIM... most people will always back themselves, rightly or wrongly, to make plenty of money on other shares in short time periods. Are we therefore sitting at the current levels because others believe they have time to make money elsewhere before jumping back in? Or even that the jump, if and when it comes, will not be so big that they can't make the money elsewhere in the meantime?
What I am trying to say is that the price may be down to market sentiment. Not necessarily at whether or not there will be a deal, but more when that may occur.
Think there will be plenty of people with modest shareholdings here, I am one of them. Not lifechanging sums of money perhaps but exciting and a fantastic learning experience. Best of luck, and congratulations on your first pick.
