It's because it was one of those RNS's that cause investors to worry. A lot of talk, but no substance (£££).

Nothing they said in that RNS is going to generate any income in the near term. Meaning more dilution is more or less inevitable.

It was released to try and fill a vacuum and it failed. The market is wise to this type of news these days. They are better off saying nothing, if there is no monetary projection. IMO AIM is now a cacophony of lifestyle companies designed to leech money from others.

The AZ work needs the in vivo data to progress, so there will be no update on this until the end of the year, earliest.

The lack of news on the Unilever front is conspicuous though.

It's noticeable that the phrase 'inflection point' has started disappearing from these RN

.........and whatever happened to the 'on person' deodorant trials. 🤔

Just calling it as I see it. The BOD have offered nothing since they lined their pockets.

That cash 'til 2028 statement must be on really shaky ground now the FFS pipeline has failed.

Next news will be the poor FY26 results in July.

What a disaster they have created.

Any placing 'chancers' will just be looking to get as much of their money back as possible now they are sitting on a ~20% paper loss.

Admittedly, £2m off the MCap from the reported sells does seem excessive. That's what you get with a loss making AIM co., with a news flow vacuum though.

I'm guessing there will be a large sell reported later.

The narrative around the placing and the complete drop-off of the 'bread and butter' FFS work have done the damage.

You can currently buy shares at about a 12% discount on the recent placing, which was at a 40% discount in itself. I beg to differ. No one sees any value at this price, which means the drop will continue.

There are an additional 750m shares in circulation and with the warrants (assuming all get taken up), there will be another 250m on top of that.

The placing has been dreadfully executed and it's highly likely there will be further dilutions to come. You'll be lucky if this sees 2p.

The only chance of getting above 2p is a share consolidation.

Other than schedule, there were zero projections in yesterday's RNS. I'm not surprised by the reaction. It seemed more like a name dropping exercise.

At least the EOFY figures should be available soon, whereby they revenue materially exceeds last year's £1.2m.

'Aptamer's unaudited revenue for H1 26 is £0.83 million, representing a substantial 27% increase from the same period last year (H1 25: £0.65 million), and gives the Board confidence that full year revenue will materially exceed the prior year.

Even this 'news' is being sold into. The placing has ensured this will be the case for some time to come.

There were zero TR-1's following the placing. I guess the bucket shops were the welcome recipients. 👍

Turner Pope are going to look like absolute mugs at the end of the year when the SP is nowhere near the 6p range they predicted in their most recent broker note (Jan/Feb '26), when they just happened to be selling the placing.

The fact that APTA haven't replaced them says as much about the company as it does the duplicitous broker.

Maybe they should advertise for a BDM considering only £190k (RNS - 29th Jan) of a 'Strong sales pipeline of £3.1 million' (RNS - 7th Jan) has been realised!

The BOD have kicked the can down the road on the majority of their near term programmes of work, probably inline with Tak's projections; So any value in the SP goes with it. This may even drop back to the previous placing price.

ALL loss making AIM companies need regular news flow to sustain the value of the company. If a vacuum is created the value will inevitably ebb away as investors lose interest. There's nothing going other than investor apathy.

They've got their salaries sorted for another year and no placing to sell until next year. No news for a while now......... probably inline with Tak's post..........so despite what they say about cash position, at least one or two placings will be necessary IMO.

How they've come to that conclusion about cash until 2028 doesn't stack up.

The longer it takes, the more dilutions you will have to wear. Hope you've got deep pockets to go with your low expectations.

The cash 'til June 2027 statement was a smokescreen for the last fundraise. There's no reason to believe the latest BS about cash balance 'til 2028 will be any different.

In one fell swoop, this has gone from one of the best investment cases on AIM, to one of the worst.

IMO, I don't think deodorant usage will reduce based upon rising household costs.

If they delay, they risk losing first mover advantage. If a rival gets their product out first, you're then playing catch up.

I'd have thought we would've heard about on person testing success by now. It had been touted as being in progress since late last year.

Next news will probably be results in July. The placing has killed everything stone dead. The results will show a loss of ~£1.5m so they'll probably want that out of the way before any news is released.
