Agreed - I topped up again yesterday on the basis that this won’t be really any cheaper in the near term and hopefully forever unless the flow results are disappointing … I guess if this starts to move to 12+ in the next few weeks it those on the ground are spreading the word

Agreed…as some of you will know I’m a long term holder whom has also been disappointed many times with Jam tomorrow RNS’s and I literally expected this to go pop and wish I’d never heard of Vast. It does feel different now and I’ve averaged down again (2.8p is my average) on the basis the diamonds will more than cover the debt and Baita Mine should now be turning a profit. Good luck everyone!

In January 2023, Air China Limited (the "Company") and its subsidiaries (the "Group") recorded a year-on-year increase and a month-on-month increase in combined passenger traffic (measured by revenue passenger kilometers (the "RPK")). Passenger capacity (measured by available seat kilometers (the "ASK")) recorded a year-on-year increase of 38.4% and a month-on-month increase of 96.1%. Passenger traffic recorded a year-on-year increase of 62.2% and a month-on-month increase of 121.6%. Among which, for domestic routes, passenger capacity increased by 35.5% year on year and increased by 107.6% month on month, and passenger traffic increased by 57.9% year on year and increased by 129.6% month on month. For international routes, passenger capacity increased by 152.1% and increased by 0.2% as compared to the same period last year and the previous month, respectively, and passenger traffic increased by 419.8% and increased by 23.3% as compared to the same period last year and the previous month, respectively. JamesJohn… it’s been a tough gig over the last few years and many of us have had to buy to get our average price down to give us a chance. Vast for the first time ever has seen a cash raise ending the day blue which means the £2.4m placing professionals have likely been advised not to cash in despite the 25% uplift in price which is unusual…

Shore Capital took part also and I’m certain they have never participated in a raise before - they are no fools!

It was only a matter of time and expected a raise but good to see CEO put up $100,000.

VAST is at these lows is because it’s not a profitable mine, £5m debt that needs paying in May and has regularly needed to raise funds to scale up the mining and as many have said a further RNS announcing a raise is not a surprise. The question is are things improving. In my opinion they are and the diamonds if VAST take possession and the value is in the 10’s of millions the debt issues is dealt with and the acceleration to profit will start.

If Vast was profitable now and didn’t have the current uncertainties around its future it would be valued at c£50- £70m per Shore Capitals valuation of the mine.

If the diamonds arrive it’s truly a game changer.. if they don’t we go back to can VAST get to regular profitability before the debt is called in? I reckon the CEO knows the value of the diamonds

Lawyers get paid first…

Nanoco will receive gross proceeds of $150 million (£125 million[1]), $65m for the IP Licence agreement and $85m for the IP Sale agreement, payable in two equal tranches by 5 March 2023 and by 3 February 2024. Nanoco expect to retain over 60% (over $90m) of this sum, after deducting legal and litigation funding costs. Legal and litigation funding costs have first claim on the proceeds. There will be a tax liability but this is anticipated to be modest.

Well done long term holders and welcome to the new investors. Shore Capital valued Baita mine at £30m+ alone in September and now we have Tajikistan already creating profit, the largest ever new mining license in Romania on the horizon and now Zimbabwe opening up again..
