THG’s activist investor has stepped up its campaign by urging the company to confirm break-up plans.

Kelso Group has written to the business’s board calling for a stock market statement outlining proposals for a demerger of its three divisions.

Kelso has been building its stake in THG since January and now has exposure to about 0.55 per cent of the group’s share capital. The investment firm has argued that a demerger of THG could help to lift its share price to 225p and achieve a market valuation of around £3 billion. Analysts at Liberum have said THG could achieve this target price if the market valued the divisions by comparison to peers in their respective industries.

Youonly - I’m with you on this. Lady Preska is no fool and she will have played every move already. Every time she has made a decision in this case the noose has tightened. I doubt she will change tact now as at the end of the day the plaintiffs, the people who matter, the guys who actually owned YPF shares have been royally stiffed…

I apologise Mr Marroc on behalf of the board regarding Mr Pennylots rude remarks about your fellow countrymen.

Current president has asked Lady Preska to change date to stump up YPF as collateral to 10th Jan so he can say it wasn’t me who lost YPF .. if I was President elect I wouldn’t be happy with that and surely Lady Preska will see through this also..

Her next move will be very telling?

This scenario may not be the worst outcome as enforcement is likely to bring negotiations forward however I believe the new president and burford are already in discussion as Mr Molot has said “Burford to be part of the solution”

Buford are going to get paid and it’s increasingly likely a big chunk will be via YPF..

Interesting Mr Marroc … they need investment they need $$$… and powerful partners!! Time for the BUR SWF to show its hand ..
