Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
DrA, That last remark of yours, I wonder whether that is something you know or just a flippant remark?
If that is the case surely it leaves the door open to our good friend Howard to exploit the situation and inject some urgency into this saga.
Hi DrA, Wow that's a relief, and I was under the impression that you had filtered me.
However, contacting our local councils to approach Peel does appear to be a very long shot
given that Peel have already identified 70 odd locations for our DMG and the utter lack of urgency they
are adopting to get even the FOAK up and running.
I live in Wales but spend most of my time living in hope!!
Silverfoil - your 9.53 reminds me of the saying
There are some people who make things happen
There are some people who wait for things to happen
and there are some people who don't know what the hell is happening!!
I hate to say this but I am one of the latter in the case of SAR.
I contacted my local councillor who happens to be on the Environmental Panel, he said he had passed the info on!?
However, is it not Peel's sole rights to allocate these DMG units in the UK?
Which suggests that our individual efforts could be in vain?
Hence the reason why after watching the poor Cop round table showing and pre Linde/Hui statement that I suggested we would be knocking around the 3p mark. The Linde news certainly gave the SP a welcome boost so I would not now expect any further significant drop in the price for the time being. Perhaps Herr Dr has some tidbit to cheer us up?!
Just making a quick check on any loose change that I have lying around the house, so that I can plonk it here when the SP his 3p. Won't be long if today's non- show is anything to go by.
There was nothing there to give hope of a rise in the share price in the immediate future . 2023 it is then OMG!! How disappointing is that.
My Observations for what they are worth -
1.Just wasted over an hour and a half of my time.
2.The PHE fellow was absolutely useless and seemed just pleased to be there and overwhelmed by the whole process
3.The Peel chap was totally invisible, kept his head below the parapet throughout.
4.The chairman was unable to dictate the format of the meeting and was in awe of the Ocean woman who took every opportunity to push her case.
5. Our man at PHE/Hui, Mr H. um White totally ineffectual and a mumbler.
6. Alexa seems to have ideas, but can she make them happen, and appears to hang on the Linde man's every word.
7. Hui has a lot running on their Linde connection- so it better turn out well for Hui and PHE.
Conclusion. If this is what our shareholders have been holding their breath for, for the past 18 months COP26's Round Table discussion will prove a disappointment. Nothing was learnt, nothing was agreed - oh apart from a date of 2023 that was let slip.
Boy what a total waste!!
50 minutes of talk about the Ocean problem then wait a minute we have - um, Howard um, White, um who utter something about um a Dm um G . This interaction of brains will go down in Plastic Solution history!! What a shower! What a presentation for the world to try and follow.
What a disappointment - What a COP -OUT!!
CB. - 'Dr A I’ve watched your trouble making over on PHE. Don’t bring that nonsense over here please.'
Well said CB, the 'learned' chappie dominates the PHE board, has wormed his way into BOD confidences and is seen by some as a Planet Change Guru. Please don't feed his ego!!
