I can assure you that the Welsh Assembly Government are in the process of doing just that - forcing Watkin Jones to take measures to rectify the cladding mess that they inherited from the Glyn and Mark Watkin Jones regime.

Leaseholders are patiently waiting while WJ dilly dally about signing an agreement to put things right in Wales.

The WAG have the powers to stop WJ doing any further building work in Wales until they agree to toe the line.

I told this board a couple of years ago when the share price was riding high that this collapse would happen.

I now see that this company is to build the highest building in Scotland - for student accommodation. One of the reasons for the delay to signing an accord in Wales is that WJ demanded that all their Student accommodation in the principality was excluded from the agree to deal with cladding and compartmental issues in their high rise buildings. Make that what you will, but if I was the parent of some poor student stuck in one of their high rise constructions I would certainly not be sleeping easily. What a corking company to be invested in!!

When I visited Bridgend recently I was shown the kiln, a German piece of kit but also under the same roof but not part of the kiln project was another totally different apparatus that, I was told, was being researched by, if memory serves me right, Swansea Uni.

I do not wish to pour cold water on anyone's enthusiasm about the graduates taken on, but I question whether they are working on 'OUR' project? That's all.

Of those, 10 are on my "Ignore" list,and show up as green. The other 4 are by the same person

who I am on the verge of adding to the others on "Ignore' . As he too spends his time arguing.

So, apart from your two posts regarding setting up a new forum - there has been sod all

worth reading on here. It has been peaceful though.!!
