expect more red tomorrow
Holding Poly shares is a very hard argument now especially with Russia planning a new offensive and the risk of ww3. Russian assets now will never add value to a uk company ni matter how much money they generate.
Why is there no pre-market bid, ask or spread??
Very mature chippy
prepare to tell your wives you've lost the Tenerife time share money
I've been in and out of this stock since the invasion
today should demonstrate that there is no real investment here. Sold out at £3.16 and bought a rental apartment with the profits. Listen to me there is no more profit to be made here.
Poly management are pretty sharp so reading between the lines it seem like they know their time is up in the UK
Evraz was suspended with it had a market of 1billion and now poly has the same market cap don’t expect the price to drift before they block the mother clucker!
People need to wake up there’s no investment here for uk retail investors
People think it’s cheap because it was £3.50 the other week but folk seem to forget before Xmas the price was £2.30. That’s before the realitiy of the re-dom
Not*
Brasso let’s have facts to assumptions
Cheers Buck. To many unknowns right now to feel positive
That clears that up however we still don't know if UK holders of CDR shares will have access to the Russian side once the re-dom and split takes place?
"@blueburg...at their last presentation, POLY mgt did say that having primary listing on LSE is limiting their ability to do things in Russia and with Russia assets. "
This is incorrect. Russia do not care about the listing on LSE, they care about the domicile, the HQ location. So to operate usefully Poly need to redomicile. If they redomicile they need a Depository Interest from Computershare to maintain the listing on LSE. Computershare are no longer willing to offer that, so the primary listing has to go if the HQ moves. Hence the listing move to KZ.
Couple of things at play here Poly need to re-dom so they cant split the company for two reason firstly the LSE would not allow the issuing of stock in company that is purely Russian assets and secondly Russia would not want a company listed in UK with Russian assets in an anti Russian jurisdiction.
Maybe so, but if UK holders have no access to Russian assets once the split takes place then the amassing of profits will be fruitless as UK holders will be constrained to the kaz profits alone.
Not sure if uk but freedom24 can trade AIX shares
Still the uncertainty is if LSE get their shares converted to GDR then there’s a spin off of Russian assets in Kazakhstan then do uk GDR holders not get any of the Russian spin off.
