Yes Harley I'm a chartered statistician and btw had all my kids vaccinated but am not under the illusion it saved their lives since they were perfectly healthy anyway. There are considerable studies on the Mennonite/Amish populations which show the benefit of vaccination are overstated since their infant mortality is about the same as vaccinated population. The benefits are most great to those with pre existing conditions rather than to otherwise healthy ppl. I'm talking to an idiot though to whom everything is black and white.

Harley if you look at the epidemic curves most of those diseases were dwindling before vaccinations came in. Clean water and excellent nutrition are far more important than vaccines to public health. Of course vaccines offer some small benefits especially to ill children with deficient immune systems but the heavy lifting in public health is a clean water supply and nutrition, certainly not vaccines. I know it's heresy to an innumerate person to say that but it's obviously true.
