We need to stop the dilution- we have assets that need to be monetised and used to fund other discovery. This rinse and repeat of successive rounds of funding a dilution will mean we end up with almost nothing, and in years to come. This has gone on too long now, the business needs to show it is just that a viable business and not a lifestyle / charity drug discovery company funded bonus mugs!

This does smell like further dilution coming from another raise. It’s that time of year!

I’ve posed the following question. I can’t imagine the board will have the good grace to respond. They may feel compelled to if enough other shareholders pose similar questions……

“Given the recent clinical and strategic developments around both SRA737 and TYK2/JAK1 1801, could the Board please outline Sareum’s current approach to commercialising these assets?

Specifically, can you clarify how the company intends to translate scientific and clinical progress into shareholder value, whether through partnerships, licensing, or retaining commercial rights, and what criteria or milestones would trigger each route?

In addition, can the Board confirm whether any active discussions or preparatory work are currently underway with potential partners or investors to accelerate the commercial pathway for either programme?”

No idea why my last post was removed. The question is one that should be debated. What have we pivoted towards drug discovery for CNS diseases when we haven’t been able to get our existing molecules for autoimmune and cancer market yet? It feels to me that we are clutching at straws and concerned if we will be able to get 737 or 1801 licensed. Getting a treatment in CNS to market is years away. Why would we dilute our very thin resources towards this when it’s clear we need to monetise 737 and 1801. If we had these drugs to market I’d be all for it, but surely not as we stand. Or is everyone happy for a longer wait and the inevitable dilution that will follow to fund further discovery into new diseases?

There are a lot more warrants out there left to exercise. If the share price continues to rise I’d expect to see the others drip through. Fantastic for the warrant holders, to effectively put the original shares purchased on a free ride if they immediately sell the exercised shares.

I was happy with getting to the Caribbean, but this could go to the stars if we discovery a therapy in this area! Interesting times….. let’s hope the eye isn’t taken off the other balls we have in the air. We have very limited “expert” resources, and we desperately need to get something over the line. Even if it is just a low value on licence for 737. We need to show we can monetise all theses years of effort, and quit the jam tomorrow approach……..

I could be wrong but this says to me a change in corporate strategy and a move away from potential equity raises. Why would you dump a broker if you were planning a raise in the near future, it wouldn’t make sense! Could be a signal that M&A activity is being pursued in preference of going it alone.

Of course it could also be just cost saving or indeed that the other broker has decided to dump us. I prefer the thought of option 1, so I’ll go with that

Brace yourselves, more dilution coming. The fact that the business seems more active with investor meetings than it does with potential licensing partners tells you everything you need to know. Checkout Proactive investor, they are very much still putting themselves in the investor spotlight, so expect another raise soon.

Market cap sat way below the level of investment made. I estimate about £30M has been poured into Sareum, so the business has now been able to increase shareholder value by a penny, rather its eroded it by circa 33%. Let’s hope this quickly turns around!

This is nothing new. These warrants are long since known about and there’s more to come, along with options the board has granted itself.

I don’t think that’s correct. They hold 6% in options between them. Tim recently transferred stock to his wife equal to 1% of the shares holding . 15% isn’t far off for what they collectively hold……

Certainly less than 50% of the stock is in the hands of PI’s . And it’s probably only around 1/3rd of the stock now. I’d say around 15% sits with the board. So the remaining circa 50% sits with II’s and HNWI who have invested over the last three years.

For some reason my bed & ISA took three separate transactions to complete and all transactions showing as sales. So 6 sales showing rather than 3 each of sales and purchases.

Dreadful update, considering where we are now this is extremely frustrating and very poor reporting. This will do nothing to support the share price. They could have at least given an indication of where they are in the preparation for the study, and how long the cash runway is anticipated to last. Questions I hope are asked and openly answered later.
