Whilst it cannot be denied the SP is shocking and that the 'profitable small scale open pit' at Eclipse never materialised, recent news has revolved around Central Menzies. A couple of things there.

EEE have paid/will pay FARRRRR more for CM than Eclipse.. hence it must be seen as potentially a MUCH bigger deal. Someone, (dnd ?) mentioned 'grades crap' in relation to the fist drill set a week oe so ago... it was the fist set of drills using historical data.... the soil samples are good... the signs for targets are good... these are shallow drills... one rich vein and the whole game changes. 300,000oz a couple of km along strike. So CM has only just begun and they will stick with it for a while yet.

Different part of Aus, but the point is that where people think gold has been worked out or is all discovered, there is infact a LOT more below. This could apply Eclipse too of course... the system and clues are there... what lies another 200m down....

Drilling at Clarke comprised 14 holes totalling 2,187 metres, designed to test the continuity of mineralisation where recent pathfinder drilling defined a significant 1.1 km anomalous gold zone over last year's intercept of 31m at 3.06 g/t of gold.



The Company is pleased to note that drill chips from Clarke contain sulphide mineralisation, sericite alteration and key geological domains that are considered supportive of gold mineralisation. Samples are now at the laboratory and results are expected to be received for the first two holes within 2-3 weeks, with further results to be received throughout December/January.

Future Work

Several exploration targets have already been defined at Central Menzies from a combination of the recent soil geochemical results, previous RAB/AC drilling, and geological and structural information from surface exposures and RC drilling. The targets are annotated T1 to T6 on Figure 4, with the targets approximately in order of priority with T1 being the highest. Based on the results of the initial RC drill programme further drilling is warranted along the western flank of the Nugget Patch trend and adjacent to the historical Teglio mine shaft. Planning of the follow-up work has commenced and further announcements regarding the details of this programme and the timing will be made shortly.

One month on Friday.....

"The initial results for drill holes BH3DD010 and BH3DD011 are due shortly. Samples from these two holes are currently being processed at the laboratory, and we expect to deliver regular drilling updates in the run up to the Christmas period. While these results are still early in the campaign, the identification of the Maori anticline and its association with high-grade gold mineralisation will now be the main focus for the next drilling campaign.

Early observations of HR3 drill cores are revealing exciting structures that appear to correlate across the HR3 goldfield. Re-construction will be key to identifying gold mineralisation patterns. A 10cm solid antimony vein was observed in recently drilled BH3DD019 around 143m depth, and is on trend to be on the northerly strike of the Maori Reef at depth. MGA’s Bendigo-based geology department will continue to gather and assimilate project data."

You may yet have some very pleasant surprises.....
