Rubey:
'BH, I took it that Exploration was disagreeing with GP - stating that there WAS a reef present and suggesting that oil and gas COULD be present and it COULD flow, so he was agreeing with Rathlin's findings!'
just wanted to address this. I don't doubt that oil could be present in the Cadeby. Rathlin are drilling for it based on what they found at the A2 site. The key is whether it is a) fractured or b) less 'tight' / impermeable. In their blurb, RBD refer to a more 'optimal' location at the B site for the Cadeby.
Basically, nobody knows, not Rathlin not S&S, nobody. That why we drill.
However, it is worth RESTATING for all that this is for the deeper Cadeby and not for the Kirkham Abbey. Personally, I am more than happy with a KA find to back up WN-A2. Cadeby is just a bonus ball. A big bonus ball, but a bonus ball nonetheless.
Wilson, nobody know precisely when they will announce findings. They will be drilling into the KA pretty soon if they are making 70m per day......
