just wanted to address this. I don't doubt that oil could be present in the Cadeby. Rathlin are drilling for it based on what they found at the A2 site. The key is whether it is a) fractured or b) less 'tight' / impermeable. In their blurb, RBD refer to a more 'optimal' location at the B site for the Cadeby.

Basically, nobody knows, not Rathlin not S&S, nobody. That why we drill.

However, it is worth RESTATING for all that this is for the deeper Cadeby and not for the Kirkham Abbey. Personally, I am more than happy with a KA find to back up WN-A2. Cadeby is just a bonus ball. A big bonus ball, but a bonus ball nonetheless.

Wilson, nobody know precisely when they will announce findings. They will be drilling into the KA pretty soon if they are making 70m per day......

Let's be clear. The 65 metre hydrocarbon column referred to in the WN-A2 well is in the Kirkham Abbey formation. Not the deeper Cadeby. The prorosity of the KA is fine as evidenced by the gas and then liquids ( oil/condensate) flowing up and creating the smoke TakeAim refers to above.

Finding a similar hydrocarbon column at the current B1 drill site will be the second big step in confirming a significant resource in the KA. NOTHING to do with the Cadeby. AT ALL.

The denser, less permeable, chalk like rock in the Cadeby shower oil saturation at the A2 site. from core samples. However, if this rock is not fractured it may be very hard to extract oil from it. May.

Persi has typed the word 'duster' above. he KNOWS this is very mischievous and naughty. He does not believe the B1 will be a duster. Far from it. If he did he would not bother being here.

Given the evidence we have and the size of the October 19 financing package, it seems success in the KA is likely. Success in the Cadeby is less likely.....BUT if it is full of oil and fractured then it will result in a MASSIVE rerate here. Talk of 'dusters' is simply cheap.
