The 'Sage of Slough' has spoken....
Place your bets…
Tomorrow, Thursday….
JV, sale, samples… new plan, new vibe….
All grist to the best fun BB on LSE
New interview.... saying all on track...looks annoyed to have to re-state it but pinning his flag to meeting those 2024 projected numbers
200,000oz at $1250-1300 AISC .... what will PoG be in 2024?
October zipping along.... Lithium supply and non Chinese processing needed all over western world... how are Barclays getting on ????
Looking forward to some nice announcements....
I know we don't have any..... yet but just to give you an idea of what new management might be interested in....
I'm surprised the weekend's event did not catapult PoG straight back above $1900. If gold isn't north of $2000 by end of year I will be very very surprised. It could of course be nearer $2100...
From recent Hochschild RNS..
o 50,000oz of gold hedged for 2025 at $2,117 per ounce
o 50,000oz of gold hedged for 2026 at $2,167 per ounce
o 50,000oz of gold hedged for 2027 at $2,206 per ounce
These will be very very safe conservative prices just whacked in to satisfy they debt providers looking forward. The spot prices by then could be much higher.....
So even a modest success here could see ECR's MCap multiply. I guess it depends on you appetite...
This situation it what provides for 'troll funding' if you get my drift. Stay cool.

Dan... it might not be humanoid...
Funny post TS. Made me laugh!
Will they or won’t they…..
Nice probation have as the grades are hot. How much is there in total if the vein maintains thickness and grade over strike….
The Holmes vein is the dominant vein system at the Project. Not only is gold present within the vein, Antimony (present as Stibnite) is visible and has been seen numerous times in outcrop. The Holmes vein consists of at least two main quartz stockwork zones up to 10m wide and is bounded on the western edge by a shear zone up to 1m in width and can be traced along strike for at least 300m. The best Antimony values are obtained close to this shear. To date, ECR has only received the results for a limited number of surface outcrops sampled, with these situated adjacent to and along strike of the shear zone. Best results include 8.19 g/t Au and 7.67 g/t Au and Antimony values up to 29% (290000 ppm Sb).

A gold equivalent value has been calculated by converting the present price of Antimony to the equivalent value in g/t Au. The estimated equivalent value being 3 g/t Au for every 1% Sb (Antimony), and this calculation is similar to the current formulae used by other Australian producers of Gold and Antimony. This would convert the best Antimony results to 31.3 g/t Au and 30.13 g/t Au Equated by converting the present price of Antimony to the equivalent value in g/t Au. If there is a nice fat vein over 300, 400, 500 metres at 20-30g per ton then that I assume will get you excited... ( oh god, I'm addressing the troll... sigh)
Nice to see the new team taking their time to make a reasoned decision on next steps.
... ooh notex is a bit grumpy...
.... and that £31 K after hours tells you what you need to know at this point... lol
Whilst it is entertaining reading everyone's banter... I look forward to some nice sampling data, an asset sale or two (they will get something away) and the first Queensland drilling.
The SP was a joke and still is. Anyone buying here IS going to bag. I think anyone with any sense on this BB knows this.
Obviously that does not include all contributors.
One should always take the view from where one is and not the distant past. Nick and Doc, a heady combination indeed and not my most favourite but NT is a decent guy and good at communicating an unfolding strategy. The Doc I'm sure you know about.....
The HNW investors want a multi-bag... and they are going to get one. How many bags? Now there's the question....
Have a lovely weekend and make sure you keep bashing away ;-)
Those are some nice looking coins! I'm more Hummingbird than Hippo... if this does what it should I may treat myself ;-)
Anyone buying now is in for the easiest BAG I have seen for a long time on release of any positive RNS
#oversold
I added... again
First drills and assess before 'spanking the monkey'..... hopefully asset sale as have too much now IMHO.
Opportunity knocks and we can kiss the simian arrivederci ....
Up late..... death by Tomahawk and red wine last night.....
If you don't get ornery with that kinda RNS then you have problems.... capiche?
Latest Results for Lolworth Gold, Niobium, Tantalum and REE Pan Concentrate Stream Samples
ECR Minerals plc (LON: ECR), the exploration and development company focused on gold in Australia, is pleased to announce the first batch of results for follow-up pan concentrate stream sampling targeting Gold, Niobium, Tantalum and REE at the Lolworth Project, Queensland.
ECR Minerals plc has 100% ownership of three exploration tenements (EPM27901, EPM27902 and EPM27903), which covers the Lolworth Range, located 120km west of the famous gold district of Charters Towers. Previous exploration campaigns from 2021 have identified the presence of Gold (Au), Niobium-Tantalum (Nb-Ta) and REE mineralisation within the licenced area. The project is being explored under ECR’s Australian wholly owned subsidiary Lux Exploration Pty Ltd (“LUX”).
HIGHLIGHTS
A total of 200 results for pan concentration stream samples from the first part of the 2023 field season have been received.
Gold pan concentrates with results up to 594 ppm and multiple occurrences of visible gold have been recorded around the Reedy Creek area.
28 out of 200 samples show values greater than 500 ppm in Niobium, and these results continue to add to the Board’s confidence that we are zeroing in on the source rocks and a potentially significant discovery.
Rare Earth Element (Neodymium) has also been identified over a broad area of the project area with 19 out of the 200 samples greater than 1000ppm Nd.
CEO Andrew Haythorpe commented: “Putting aside the fact today’s results add a further significant piece to the Lolworth jigsaw, the progress announced today also serves to illustrate the painstaking and methodical work by Adam Jones and the field team in mapping and logging a hitherto virtually untouched and unexplored area. The detail now provided by the numerous Gold, Niobium and Tantalum results generated from this work are enabling us to zero in on the sources and the high potential locations in order that we can delineate drill targets.”
“ECR’s Lolworth project continues to exceed expectations. Meanwhile we expect to report further results from our projects within a week.”

FIRST PAN CONCENTRATE RESULTS FOR 2023
ECR has received 200 results from the first submitted batch of pan concentrate samples for the 2023 field season. A total of 628 pan concentrate samples have been taken since the beginning of exploration at the Lolworth Project in 2022,
Very interesting site the EWP Lucky. Enjoyed that!
Notably Guinea is 11th as opposed to Mali 24th.... everyone banging on about Mali though. This made me chuckle. However the ratings are just a statistical combination and as such are just 'nerd' data. What actually takes place in any country in the future is for the future to tell us.
I suspect Mali may have fallen rather than risen over the last 12 months.
Anyhow, what you said about other companies SP's rising over the same timeframe as HUM's has fallen ... all operating in Mali, speaks volumes. Risk has ALWAYS been there and exists in most W African territories. It is part of the W African scene simply put. The decline of French and UN involvement in the country is unfortunate but having YAN in the far SW of Mali is of course the best place. Let's hope they can keep running and doing what they were designed to do because Group performance H2 2023 is ging to be much better than H1 and a rise in POG will of course accelerate the numbers.
I just reread the trading update and note the wet weather preparation underway at KOU. Hopefully these along with other management tasks will get us some nice H2 production that makes the 30,000 oz predicted production look conservative.
Then short of any nasty surprises, we have a tasty looking 2024 to get excited about. In the meantime we have August fun and games to enjoy before the inevitable September turnaround... oh what a surprise that will be with some fun posting I'm sure.
You have been posting a lot Lucky, so don't forget to CHILL as require ATB GLATH BH
