The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Hi Audio,
I did not say that I did not like the way it is trading.... I was saying that I think that ATM as a company and ATM's management would not want to proceed with a 'low-price' sale as has been announced at Shanta.
Obviously I am calling it 'low-price' but SHG management might differ in that view. However, AV has already implied that he declined a big money offer from an interested Chinese party. As we know the Chinese have been very active in snapping up Lithium assets across Africa.
ATM will have been aware of this and have already shown a desire to stay independent. I think they would like a partner to fund a significant development and ramp-up but not an outright sale. The Namibians would like a fair chunk for 'their' mineral asset as well as foreign investment and good long lasting jobs for both skilled and unskilled locals.
All needs to be balanced hence a deal may be taking longer than previously envisaged but I don't think we will see a 'swoop and take it all' deal here. At least I very much hope not.
Recent trading has seemed to be pushing the SP to hold at a level between 5-6p. Reasonable if you look at a longer timeline graph but arguably very much undervaluing the assets. I think this is not accidental but what the hell do I know..... we should find out soon!
Jo Battershill, Chief Executive of Anglesey Mining, commented: “We are very pleased to have finished the first drill hole into the Northern Copper Zone and get confirmation of both our geological and mineralisation models. The mineralisation from the lower zone, currently interpreted to be the Garth Daniel Zone, is particularly encouraging. As previously disclosed, the samples from this drill hole will be sent off to the assay laboratory as soon as possible and we look forward to potentially receiving the results during Q1 2024.”
“The next hole in the program is designed to step out 200 metres to the southwest and provide infill drilling pierce points within the Northern Copper Zone. Converting the upper levels of the Northern Copper Zone from the Inferred category to the higher confidence Indicated category is the key objective of this program. Our current planning is to drill two holes from the new-collar position to reduce any down time between holes – changing the angle of the rig should ensure the targeted pierce points are achievable.”
“We were originally planning on completing the downhole Muon survey on NCZ001; however, a zone of broken ground at a depth of 390 metres – interpreted to be large fault – would present a risk to the survey tool and increases the chance of losing the tool down the hole. Subsequently, we will aim to conduct the Muon survey upon completion of the next hole.”
Anyone technical know about the Muon survey process???
Yes, you really should prepare for what is coming next year, in only a few short weeks. This will include the results of the recent RC drilling and I suspect some 'whole of bag' samples tested.... fast and dirty the old RC drilling... look back at 2019 Creswick samples...
Victoria is full of gold but the previous drill Midas was the wrong tool... Mike knows this and Adam too. He was surely just doing what our late CEO asked him to.
Prepare for 100% plus gains from here when you have 2, 3, 4m at 40/60/80 g/T
Prepare for further drilling at Creswick led by pathfinder elements in soil.... the next drill set after Davey Road is lined up.
Prepare for more asset sales and drilling in Queensland. Multiple fronts to bring shareholder value.
Prepare for a JV on one asset to be realistic with cash..
Prepare for next raise at .5 or .6 or .8p....
Get prepared now..... Happy Christmas and an even happier New Year. BH
Maybe tiger .... but I think AV and team .... AND the Namibian government will play a much more active role in what happens here an I do not think we will see a Shanta-like situation arise with ATM
This is a MUCH bigger and more strategic resource. What ATM have is an important and uncommon thing... not a couple of mid-size gold mines.
Prepare for 'whole of bag' samples tested.... fast and dirty RC drilling... look back at 2019 Creswick samples...
Legal... I think you are wrong to dismiss Victoria... entirely wrong. Midas was the wrong tool... Mike knows this and Adam too probably but he just did what he was told I suspect.

Back in AYM.... wish it had been a month ago...
Sexy looking core and hopefully lots more of that to come...
Serious resource of the metals we will need... right here in UK. Several big holdings RNSs
Buy and wait. Not always everyone's favourite strategy but looks like there is plenty of metal down there. Need to get a nice fat indicated resource!
Looks like SP being 'worked' to a price.....
To aid an investment at a certain level????
I do think 2024 will be the starting of the main game here.....the time has come.
Sale of assets as promised. Extra money for exploration activity... with salary sacrifice scheme... exploration is the name of the game!
Glad I bought another 7,000,000 of these bad boys..... not today obviously....
Now is the time Rippers....
$2072.. heh heh
Yes it is!
This will please nodecency... he will love the fact that all the gold we have not yet discovered is going to be worth so much more....
Notime to miss the boat... could be left a nohoper... I so hope that is the case...
Oliver… you were grammatically correct… it’s notrex who is mistaken, here as elsewhere.
It’s your thesis in the life you are living.
Nosex can’t help his shallow ways… he had it tough.
Note what a JV RNS did to Oriole SP today…..
Yes he did. I was in Zoetic...missed the big bags but not this time....
Sensible move...
Wise words tradedesk... you will be proved correct methinks...
Somebody bought them…
Good summary TS
Much better than mine…lol
Basically they are being pragmatic and aim to use their resources carefully for the best outcome whilst aligning themselves directly with shareholders interests
And they will communicate progress promptly and clearly to the market
Cash… you should find a way to listen. You must be able to search it….
Doc makes good sense and is pragmatic. There are lots of options to pursue but on top of this he stresses how much he and Nick understand how tough it is for LTH’s and the fact that they get that.
Hence their strange remuneration set up.
The recent Victoria find are discussed plus the assets on the books that provide potential for cash outside of placing
Mike loves to bang on and he sure can talk but he is not thick and he is not a dreamer. He is fully aware of how a lot of AIM management take the mick out of shareholders and is essentially saying that they will not.
We will see I guess but it is a good listen.
