thanks vike1, it might be all happening a bit later than we were led to believe last year, but it is all happening now. i thinking once all the line clearance is done the shooting of the3D seismic shouldn't take to long.

and especially as, i think we all thought the work budget for the 3D and drilling CH-1 was about $40 million.

or, SCIR is playing hard ball on the price offered them, though i do believe that all parties i think is involved, TPDC, AEX, WEN ARA, and of course SCIR, all have a lot to gain by the right M&A agreement.

And maybe a deal with SCIR for their 25% of Ntorya, all nicely tide up with Gov agreements and rolled into one grand M&A package. No wonder its taking so long : )

Crusty, i have already asked you (politely) to explain further, why they didn't perforate lower, but now as you seem to have the definitive answer, will you now kindly do so.

Well, you would generally chose to perforate at the top of an oil/gas reservoir, to try and extract as much of the resource as possible, as the (water contact level) will rise to the point of perforation, as pressure is reduced as the gas is extracted. so yes they would chose in the first instance, to perforate at the top of the gas column. My suspicion is, that they hadn't counted on the reservoir being (compartmentalized) ?
So it was back to the drawing board, and they have now decided to perforate lower down the gas column.

are you sure you are not getting muddled up with the NT-1 well? were the feared if they purferated any lower they would hit the water contact. could you explain further please.

Crusty, they have the the info to determine risk and commercial viability, and i don't think they would be pushing the (perforating project) as they have and as recently as the last H/Y results if they didn't think it had merits.
