SotB - Not much use having great unrisked reports when they don't bother to get the stuff into production

Promises of 'news rich periods' from PMG are fantasy as usual.
SP current slide back in progress to mid-thirties is much more the norm.
It seems to happen every time SP gets above 50p - at least they are consistent in that.
It's going to be a long wait in the doldrums until Nov. & the current rate of progress suggests nothing very exciting anyway.

I am not sure where you get the 30 bags from but keep dreaming!

R66 - I concur completely.
Story hasn't changed or produced any significant gains over the last 7-8 years.
It seems that everybody has heard of the super cycle with the exception PMG.
I suppose we can at least take some comfort that there is enough cash to continue paying TC his £500k per year !

SotB - your arguments are less than convincing and to compare TC with footballers is rather strange to say the least as I am sure they do not know diddly-sqaut about the O&G industry.

Persistent rampers continually regurgitating out of date Finncap 'news', mystery big buyers, imminent news, etc. seem quite desperate to try to influence the SP.
They will have no effect whatsoever or encourage any II's to invest as they never even look at BB's such as this.
Only news direct from PMG on positive actions with firm schedules to get the assets producing will bring any improvement in attracting II's & result in an uptick of the SP.
In the meantime as usual don't hold your breath for TC to cast any light on the situation. The longer he sits on his a**e getting his £500k per year the less chance of being able to capitalise on the favourable climate towards O&G E&P.

It is good to see some realistic posts for a change.
Unfortunately I have to agree that as PMG haven't made any significant headway after years of endless studies, etc. & minimal investments, it is looking increasingly like TC & Co. have lost the plot & are squandering what opportunities there were/are.

This was supposed to be the case for TC & RS as reported by the SP rampers.
So far they have made a right cods ear of that over the last few years.
All about assets & no signs of any realities in production.

"if & when" has been the PMG story for the last few years & still no firm commitments to show significant progress

The SP will only go when TC gets his head out of the sand, pulls his finger & gets the assets into production.
At the moment it is, as has been for years, all speculative with no end in sight of any meaningful changes in approach.
As it stands, if TC continues to sit static on his a*** much longer the current positive situation fo O&G E&P will be missed & then ??

When PMG re-rated the shares 1:15 @20p the SP briefly hovered around £3 & there were several II's who bought in.
They have all divested a long time ago with the exception of SF.
Current SP at 55p/15 gives an equivalent price (before the re-rating) of less than 4p each - ie. 20% of what it was then.
Not what can be called progress in my book.
Assets look great but if they are not used productively they don't improve the financial position or SP.
8-10 years is a long time to see any significant improvement in the situation.
Whisky is far better. An investment of £3374 made 7 yrs ago is now worth in excess of £100,000 & going up quite nicely.
Rather better than what I put into PMG about 10 yrs ago, although like other LT holders we live in hope that the payoff day will come sooner rather than later. GLA

SotB/D172 - ten years on since TC took over & where is the actual progress ?

No mention of PMG !!
PMG have always only boasted about its assets, etc. & FinCapp ratings always take them to mean they have a value & should be reflected in the SP.
The biggest problems are that the assets have never been realised & the only cash generation has been from the small stakes in Dutch gas + now a small wind asset. Only continuous studies, etc. & no realistic actual prospect of any increase in production - that's where the income comes from & also increases the viability & hence the SP
Also it is not unrealistic to suspect others may not be very keen to partner in view of TC's large holding & also for no other II's being involved apart from the Stonehage Fleming (ex-Cavandish) one which has been there for some time.
No sign of any other major investors in spite of TC& RS supposed going to the CITY to try to generate some interest.
Food for thought but not much positives to make SP move up.

Just goes to show how much confidence in even any external positive news.
Any response from TC & co. never happens. ergo - negative

SOTB - never seen any of your over optimistic dreams materialise yet.
TC certainly doesn't take any notice of them anyway.
