RE: D-day8 Dec 2018 18:50
It will be a hard hat and bunker day on Wednesday, the rejection of TM's deal, compounded with (imo) her calling a GE.
She will take the gamble of increasing Tory MP's to get a healthy majority in the house on the grounds that she is enacting the "will of the people"
There are about 100 labour seats that overwhelmingly voted leave and she will play to this, and also play to the fact that the majority of labour MP's are in favour of a second referendum that could result in the UK remaing in the EU, or agree to sign up to a labour negotiated deal that would reult in fredom of movement of EU citizens.
What has she to loose, as the vultures are circling for he scalp now, and there is nothing more ceratin that if she looses the vote on Tuesday they will be coming for her.
The one thing we all know the one thing the makets fear more than fear itself is a JC goverment, so the short term turmoil will be very painful.
What a mess we are in.
