No need to shout obrien, we all still ignore you :-)
Well we shall see. JA as you know has a sizeable holding plus warrants, so if there is to be a sale then he will look to to make a profit and therefore so will I. Personally I remain of the view that TRP will drill Cameroon early next year.
I think that is nonsense. Only a smaller outfit would be interested in developing the Cameroon asset. As for Namibia and SA, I think JA will be looking for a partner to farm in to those assets in due course.
@obrien, first it is you are not your, second, you will find out sooner rather than later who is, as you put it, the idiot.
@Vader, I expect you did. Of course had you done even a modicum of research you would know that the board do not pay themselves at all, instead taking warrants for their fees. As you are uninitiated I will explain for you that this means their income is wholly dependent on success. Further, the CEO, Jeremy Asher has a significant amount of his own money tied up in TRP shares. It is always best to comment from a position of knowledge.
Probably best that you move on Oleo son, clearly you know nothing about the company so your comments carry little value. Try doing the research. A little hint, at Africa Energy Week recently local banks agreed to set up funds to develop energy resources for African states. As ever, it helps if you comment from the relative strength of knowledge.
@oleo, it seems you mostly post in FOG so I guess you may not have done much research on TRP.
Banks generally lend where they have assessed that there is sufficient security for the loan. I suggest you do the research on TRP Cameroon operations, as most of we long term holders have done, and then decide whether you want to invest.
It will rise once JA is able to confirm that all the money is in place. At that point they can get on with the detail for the drill.
Having been here some time I remain fairly chilled about the actual dates as it sounds as though it is all coming together.
Others must take their own view of course.
@Rktech, as you can see for yourself from the recent RNS, half the additional financing is in place - from a bank. It is unlikely that JA would have committed £250k as risk capital if he was not pretty confident about the outcome IMO.
