If you read the detail in this release, it's a reduction in upside potential and a reduction in downside risk. A muted reaction seems pretty fair. On balance, it's likely to be NPV neutral.

The news must have leaked over the past few weeks because the shares ran up on no news and then sold off on the actual RNS. AIM needs to be fixed - it's a joke. A few years ago, ahead of a dilutive rights issue in this stock, the shares fell massively ahead of the annoucement. Criminal!

I'm completely aware that this was a different company. In that example, you are trash talking that business for being unprofitable for a number of years. Why is Shield Different? You've held it since 2022 and it hasn't been profitable for the 4+ years since you've invested. So I ask again... Why the change of heart for Shield?

Am I missing something? the link you've shared there ALSO shows EPS being negative until 2027 before it turns positive. I'm a long term holder so I don't care either way. Just being intellectually curious here.

Firstly, I'm not short. I am a holder and have been for years.

Secondly, if you ACTUALLY read that Cavendish report, have a look at the EBITDA projections and you'll see they are forecasting -£0.5m for 2026 FY. This implies that Cavendish (not me...) are suggesting EBITDA won't turn positive until 2027. Does that make sense?

These AIM stocks are so leaky! It's wild how much they move with no published data.

I’ve been a shareholder for a while and lost a lot of money in this company (Circa a quarter of a million pounds). What I’ve learned from rollercoaster is that insider buying in this company doesn’t mean much. Part of me wonders whether it’s an attempt to rally the share price before another equity raise.

I am just so delighted that the director spent £17,250 of his own money to buy shares! He must have really strong conviction... Superb stuff..!

I'm expecting a 90k for 2023 in total which is still good going but a miss on their guidance. I think this might be offset with a further improvement in GTN. Also hoping for a positive update from one (or more) of Norgine, Canada, Korea or China.

Risk off today as rate cuts are postponed. No change in fundamentals either up or down since the last report.

I don't think the move in STX is out of line with the broader risk on rally in the US market (given that STX is increasingly trading like a US small cap). My guess is there's nothing specifically going on beyond that right now.

Even thought management have given us clear guidance on Q3 numbers, could they be about to release a formal statement tomorrow? Feels like there must be some rationale for the sudden spike in volumes.

Actually, the results themselves are entirely known. We have a Q1 and Q2 update from the company already. The bit that will be interesting is management guidance on how the business is doing beyond H1.

Would be great to see this stock finish above 12p tonight! I'm not sure the company will reveal too much new info on Thursday but these results end up driving a lot of volume from the generalist funds to look at these companies. Hopefully they like what they see.

I'm looking for +100% Q/Q for Q3. I wonder how much data they will share in the H1 update?

I wonder if someone has had an early indication on July and August numbers?
