Good job rio tinto arnt in Switzerland then or Vale....The 46,000-year-old rock shelters were blown up by the mining giant Rio Tinto as it prepared to extend its 80,000 sq. km Brockman 4 iron ore mine. The tragedy has brought Western Australia's heritage laws under scrutiny, particularly the fact that Rio Tinto had the legal right to blast the rock shelters.....The Brazilian mining giant Vale has agreed to pay out £86m ($107m) in collective moral damages and £150,000 ($186,000) to each of the close relatives of nearly 300 people killed when a tailings dam collapsed in January at its iron ore mine in Brumadinho.....If 300 souls are only worth 86 million.....then investors should pike into glencore if they only have a little bit of corruption and bribery to worry about....... ALLEGED!... bribery and corruption Seems to me there is a lot worse mining companies out there that are more corrupt and more dodgy than Glencore and their share prices are way high ...glencore debt should be below that 16 billion they wanted come the next financial report with the dividend they withheld this year
