It was profit that went up approx 1200%. 1 day/1 week/1month or 12months in given financial year its all the same in YE results. Just like this years will be 6 months Angra with the additional 6 months Angra + MSB from 01/09/23. Most businesses retailers make money at Xmas for the whole year in those magical 2 to 4 weeks back in the day.

PS its not been priced in as no one knew about the start date or how quick BOD have worked or how much work is going on in the background just to get to 1st September.

I agree RR SMR is basically being run as a R&D department within RR plc (Group). it will stay like this a ‘Separate legal Identity’ to protect RR Plc until the times right to bring it into the RR PlC brand or just kept on there in the outer market.

On a side note it proves FCA wasn’t ready when we were in applying for Sandbox. WSJ article backs up what we have been saying that UK plc is playing catch up and maybe GSTs product/offering were far more advanced that what FCA anticipated that could be tested/protected in Sandbox. Hence pathway direction.
