I agree, having actually met Stephen Parker I can say he has my confidence. A big part of my investment decision was made on the basis that he is with Sareum and at the helm, so to speak.

I supported the 10p and 20p fund raises and have no intention of selling any.

I agree with your second paragraph HBD. I think a buyout could come around quickly just following a straightforward path with 1801 alone. Adding a CEO could be costly in terms of salary, options and other CEO running costs when they may not actually be be needed.

When I was at the AGM last year the Directors were all given a hard time as we known, including the reading out of a small essay by one MR Smith demanding changes, including Tim moving aside. I can remember very clearly Tim looking terrified the whole time whereas Stephen seemed to take the events in his stride. At the end of the formal proceedings a send follow on questions, Tim got up and immediately hid In a corner, only talking to a couple of shareholders that walked right up to him. Whereas Stephen immediately walked out into the room and started engaging with everyone, including the aforementioned Mr Smith. I watched him spend time facing up to some pretty difficult discussions and taking on board the many difficult feedbacks he was receiving.

The point I’m getting to is to my eye, Tim seemed to just want to hide and then get out of there ASAP, whereas as Stephen took the situation head on, in his stride and made a point of proactively talking to everyone. On this basis I for one am relieved that this change has gone through. I decided back then that I didn’t have much faith in Tim when the going gets tough, but totally the opposite for Stephen. I think the BOD situation is thus in a much better position as and when those big, business critical decisions come along

I put it to you that to date Sareum’s licencing business model has been a failure. 737 is now something of a joke. Business models can be changed and I put it to you that there is a case for doing that here.

Like you I would like a straight buyout, which, incidentally, I think would be ruled out if a license is entered into.

The thing is, I think we are most likely to see a buyout if Sareum keep full control of 1801 and with some good luck, enjoys excellent P2a results. Further, I think we could be looking at a share price not far of the £5 a share you’ve referred to in your reply, even accounting for some further dilution.

My view is the opposite of yours. I don't want a license deal and with it Sareum's loss of control over 1801. Just look at how the 737 licence played out!

I'm hoping for a raise (which I'll support) followed by a P2a trial owned wholly and solely by Sareum.

I totally agree. Working in Pharma was a complete charlatan. Pumping and ramping up the GSK situation (which I said at the time was never going to happen) and then completely disappeared when GSK chose to hand 737 back.
