I’ve bought in at 30p. Anyone think we will hit 40-50 anytime soon?

Well what a flop we are back to 2.17 this late in the day!!!!

It’s very tempting to sell at these prices but I have a feeling this will jump further on results. Anyone think we can hit 2.50-2.60?

John2015- you don’t understand short selling. Shorts close by buying not selling. They open a short by selling in the hope of buying the shares back cheaper before returning them to the owner.

Does anyone know when the next announcement from the company is?

Ffc - correct i’m not on here to make any mischief, just share knowledge and opinions with like minded individuals. Unfortunately some idiot on here thinks otherwise. My chat history will speak for itself, I have never ramped or deramped a share. All my opinions and analysis are fair and balanced which is how it should be, and not just biased on the direction we want the share price to go.

Hi Scotsman- yes just read up on the detail and looks quite interesting. Going by that sxx should only see around a 15% dilution if the price is set at the same value.

Roulette- wasn’t deramping at all mate just saying things as I see them from my point of view. I could say the same and call you a ramper, but won’t stoop down to your level. I didn’t say the board were lending money from their own pocket, but more so the fact the remaining £600m will not come from banks so will have to be an equity raise of some sort, which will be dilutive.

Anyway I don’t think I need to explain myself to the likes of yourself so good luck with whatever you do in life.

GK- thanks for the welcome and agree this company has a big hurdle to cross before taking off. What concerns me is we just don’t the level of the dilution involved here, as the board have made it clear they will not just lend more money so that only leaves the option of private equity or new investors. However with the amount involved you can almost guarantee it will be a big chunk of the company, but SXX will emerge as strong profitable company after this which fares well for everybody. May be I bought and sold too quickly and will regret it, just means I stand to make I lower profit than I would have had I stayed in. I lost a big amount on IRV so don’t want to take too much risk at the moment, as my priority is to recoup my losses.

Roulette- by a dilutive debt for equity swap. Just have a look at what they proposed in IRV.

Aussiebattler/chesh- it has nothing to do with your posts, but more to do with further reasesrch I have carried out today. One thing that stood out for me was the fact that one of the largest holders here has halved their position this month, so I’m guessing the SP may have further to fall, or there could be nasties in the debt for equity swap.

I’m not worried about the business model in any shape or form as he underlying business is sound and profitable. Unfortunately this makes it attractive for the hedge funds who will try to push the PIS out just like we saw with IRV.

I can still buy in after the financing and walk away with a profit hopefully.

I only lost £35 or so so not a huge amount.

Bought in yesterday and sold out today at a small loss as it seems there is too much risk here at the moment . Will buy in once there is more clarity on this.

Sky rise- Sorry to hear about your loss, it seems you have lost £500k on this? If so that’s Truly disgusting and those responsible should have the book thrown at them.

Bought in at 4k worth at 3.87. Looks like a share with a good prospects, though with risks around the refinancing. Will hold for a while and see where it goes.

Pbody- no one has stated investors will get anything back from IRV going into administration, you aregetting confused again. The shareholder compensation discussion relates to the FCA investigation which is totally unrelated to the the administration, related to Market disclosure from IRV back in late 2016- early 2017. Obviously those who invested after this date or recently cannot expect anything if something does materialise from it, since they were aware of all the facts before they invested. It will only affect people who bought between August 2016 - February 2017 which is likely to be only a handful of investors, so any compensation if awarded will NOT be for the full 150m shares in issue, more like 30m. Remember it only impacts people that bought within that period based on what they were told from BOD, so those who were already holding at the time will unfortunately not be entitled to anything either.

Thanks Kenj agree with Pete it would make sense for shareholders at the time to be compensated not only because I bought in at the time, but to set an example to other companies.

Otherwise we will see this happening more often where companies will lie through their teeth, suck investors in and re-emerge as a new company on a Monday morning. This will make the stock market uninvestsble

Kenj have a read of this for the context. Basically FCA are investigating the fact that IRV passed on a lot less to the Market then they knew about EFW.

Interesting point Kenj. So if as you say the company has been sold, what happens around the FCA investigation around EFW? Will that be suspended or continue and a relevant fine/shareholder compensation posed, or was IRV liable for that?

Laustin- I doubt is very much since the IRV no longer exists, though we can wait to see what Coltrane’s next move is. Only the IIs have the knowledge and power to initiate such claims.

Well the outcome here doesn’t seem to surprise me given most of the discussions on this forum for the last 2 months or so. I’m sorry for anyone that’s lost their money as I too lost a fortune here (65k) when I cashed my shares out a week back, so I share your pain.

As has already been stated the whole investment in IRV has been on deception, lies and self serving interests of the BOD. It seems they have got away with it unsurprisingly since any investigation such as the FCA will now be closed as the company no longer exists. It’s BAU usual for the employees thankfully, whilst the shareholders have been well and truly shafted.
