I think that the research and development of new technologies will take care of the profit longer term. Look at Tesla they generate like 8bn profit once and somehow have an mcap of 779bn. New technology is the golden egg for rolls.
They do seem to be showing quite a lot of ambition, some serious investment needed in the future to get there! Imagine elon musk watching rolls create nuclear propulsion and all-electric planes, got to be aiming to compete with tesla at some point. I'm loving this buy more and more, just need to get out of this hole!

I really struggle to see how the share price can stay at these levels longer term!

I am excited about the possibility of rolls leading the way when it comes to the electrification of engines. This is one area where they have a great opportunity to carve out the future of air travel and increase the value of the company tenfold. Tesla has an mcap of £779 bn mainly due to the technology they have developed for their electric vehicles (certainly not based on sales figures). I really hope Rolls pushes hard in this direction over the next few years.
Investing in the future is wisest when the markets are at their lowest, most people wait for signs of a recovery, but i prefer to take the plunge nice and early. I have full confidence that this share will be another big winner for me. I think ill double up here in a few month's time. I did the same with aml when they were at 32p, all of the factories closed down, and they were in serious trouble, I filled my boots and they pushed up to 70p within a few weeks. Same at Greggs, I have followed them for years and they tanked to around £11.00, Ridiculous considering their UK footprint....all it took was a bit of good news and boom right back up there. To me this share price is follwing a very similar pattern.
They will open up corridors. They won't be allowed to sit waiting until every country opens up and eases restrictions, they will push the limits all the way. The economy relies on it. things change rapidly and the market prices it in before it happens, not after, so I'm confident that the signs of recovery are all that we need.

The sells are definitely weakening, flatlining ready for a climb I predict! Just need a spark! We have heard all the bad news, I can't see it getting worse with nearly 1/4 of the UK having their first jabs! Take off everyone under the age of 18 and we are barreling through the highest risk categories! Some reports have said people are booking holidays for October now, so their is some optimism creeping in already!
