If you've proven you kinda don't really know what you're doing, why take precious gov't money that can be utilized by another company more competent. All Origin has to do is sit back and watch others prove up their butter bowl. Why would they risk the scrutiny of the Au people wasting their money. Hand it to the experts and keep your fingers crossed.
Will we will see a planned cooperative effort by Origin, Santos and Empire to get as much cumulative info as possible this coming dry season? Origin on the Kyalla, Santos on the Velkerri and Empire contributing anything of value. Do you think these companies are actively sharing intel and coordinating progress operation plans with minimal overlap for mutual benefit? Thanks in advance
But don't you think there's going to be plenty of pressure to execute with all the gov't dog and pony about lower energy prices, jobs, pipelines and all the rest of the wonderful frills that have been touted to date? Origin has lots of integrity to uphold and extended delays are not quite what the doctor ordered. I hope to believe they will be squeezed next year, especially if they don't continue this year, to put on one heck of a campaign to maintain credibility.
We almost always found a way to get our drilling, cement, crane trucks into wet locations to construct billboards. Just wondering how limited the oil and gas boys are on the drilling crew during the rainy season in Australia. Any info would help a lot. Thank You
Looking for some info to help with the wait. What months are conducive to drilling, non rainy season? Can building roads and site prep be accomplished in the rain? Once sites are prepped and a drill rig on location, can drilling continue during rainy season? Will more than one rig be used out of the gate to pursue with such a demand for execution? Thanks to all contributors
Provided the ban is lifted, will the market makers provide Phillip some negotiating assistance by again running the share price up on speculation just like what occurred in Hungary, and will this set an early, almost premature target that potential buyers will be forced to consider, even before actual affirmation of proven reserves? Especially if only Falcon's sub-basin is initially allowed.
Let me apologize to the board for my negative post awhile back. There was just a bit too much back pattin going on and delirious optimism. Certainly not a LTG person. Not an O&G guy either. Just can't believe Origin and our CEO are willing to take such a passive approach to realizing the critical benefits that are waiting and maybe lost to another more pro-business developer
There's a global race to develop new Shale gas. The LNG market will be serviced and supply contracts signed by companies with available resources. With Australians paying through the nose, jobs needed, empty coffers, how is it possible that the moratorium would be lifted without an insistence that the supply process begin immediately. Could this just be another patronizing play by Origin that on the front end looks noble but with full knowledge that the process will resume immediately.
Now that we even have Big Ones on board, we seem to need a new scoundrel to appease the Gods. So, the ban won't be lifted in March and Naomi gets a raise and a parade in her honor. Setting the stage for a little smack talk on the golf course. Bring your A game.
