Charles Jillings, CEO of Utilico, energized by strong economic momentum across Latin America. Watch the video here.
Their pulling your plonker, if there was anything in what they are implying this bb would have erupted this evening
The RNS is simply telling us that either shares that there is now 7000ish more shares with voting rights attached than there was at the beginning of feb
They have upto 3days to inform the market, they will do that in lumps sums
It will be some one most likely with large holding I.e JD or another large share holder they buy and sell that way so it puts minimal influence on the sp
Because no bid has been made yet and even if there is a bid made it will still be a long drawn out process before the bid is either approved or rejected
I’m expecting lots of twist and turns in this story before it reaches a conclusion
I don’t usually day trade, but I do see opportunity here and have a small pot to dip in and out of this one. But there is no way I’d punt the family silverware on it though
IMO that’s like asking in the late 90s if you think the same companies would adopt to the internet into their businesses.
It’s not a case of if, but more of a when…
Ade, Ever thought it might be the timing of your trades at fault,
And not the company itself????
Well I’m not going to claim to be an expert investor, but I do know that if I had uncle Doug’s expertise, I wouldn’t spend my days on this site, I would be on my multi million dollar yacht surrounding myself with those bikini clad babes
This has been known for quite some time. Common knowledge since at least the bribery charges were settled
I don’t think it matters who’s in power they are all a bunch of lying two faced incompetent greedy fools. Who are only interested in lining their own pockets and doing what benefits them.
Why would I listen to you and sell up ade, my average is below £2 and with approx 40p per year dividend that’s over 20% of my initial stake money per year
I think the fact that they are even speaking about help for mortgages, tells me that interest rates are high enough already.
They left it to late to start raising them, and now they are raising them way to fast.
All they have created is a boom and bust scenario. Loop.
People have too much spending power, so they raise rates.
They raised the too high too quickly so they flood the economy with bailouts, which in turn will cause higher inflation again.
A bit like driving a car, when you approach a bend going way too fast, all of a sudden you find yourself oversteering,
Before you know it your losing control and steering in the opposite direction, and the only way to get the car back under control is to take your foot off the accelerator, And not yank the steering wheel from left to right so hard which is what the gov and now seem to fail to acknowledge
All a big joke if you ask me , as the Tory’s are now split on whether to give out help for mortgages.
Isn’t the idea of raising rates supposed to curb spending. Only to flood the economy with cash again
Imo they left it to late to raise rates in the first place, and now they are going up, they are expecting it to have an instant effect on the economy
Rather than letting it settle in
They’re going to well over cook this pie
I’m with iWeb, Halifax I think, I don’t think I’ve ever had a dividend payed on the day, it’s always 3-7 days later
Not sure what the fuss is about personally
Payment day is the date the company releases the funds,so no guarantee you get paid that same day
I bought back two tranches today @ £5.55
So currently holding 75% of the shares I’m planning to hold
Swerve
Well, down but not out, if you’re looking for dividend paying stocks… I would give fres the body swwer
I’m not sure why people are only just realising that the U.K. is not a place to do business. The U.K. shut up shop years ago.
Just look at the ftse100 if you bought it in 1999@ 6900 and today it sits at around 7750, take into account tax and inflation and your most likely losing money
They say history repeats itself. And if 2023 is going to be anything like 21/22, sell in may and buy back in September …
Although I’m not sure how much of that is just wishful thinking, on my behalf
There was close to 55m share traded yesterday, not 28m which your implying
Not sure why you think it’s unfair?
