You are correct, however, they can still increase their stake. What I find interesting is the share price is so low yet we have not had any new RNS stating Fosun have increased their stake by 1% in a while. So they are either using a 3rd party, selling their current stake, not buying or are negotiating in the back ground for the whole firm.
Personally if a deal is to be made, TCG can easily just separate the airline from the main firm, so in reality its not a huge problem. So Fosun would not have to wait for the sale, it just gets placed into a subsidiary company if that makes sense.
If Fosun believed in TCG, they would be buying the debt knowing the payment dates of 2020 and I think 2023 will be fulfilled by the sale of the assets......
its probably coming, its just a case of when..... It could still be years, however, this is a great oppertunity for fosun to get it much cheaper than expected. Not something they will want to miss.... They also will not want it being calved up and sold for parts...
