George Frangeskides, Chairman at ALBA, explains why the Pilbara Lithium option ‘was too good to miss’. Watch the video here.
So assumption is that they cannot distribute Artemis C until Phase 3 trials are completed (end of June). Today's RNS says that orders have been placed already for Q1 already been placed and assume they are already manufacturing out of their Slovenia plant in readiness for distribution. So anyone with pharma background know what goes into a Phase 3 trial? Assume bigger population and given phase 2 results, assumption is that there shouldn't be any surprises, hence today's announcement? Not familiar with Research and approval process for Pharma, hence thoughts appreciated.
JimmyJesus - I'm glad I'm not the only one! They're an IT Consultancy that will oversee Digital Ledger Technology implementations, based on Blockchain. Nothing to do with Crypto. For them to move into that space, would be a fundamental shift in their Business. Nothwithstanding, Blockchain and DLT will become more mainstream (in the same way that ERP and more recently Cloud have), but this is nothing to do with BTC and the rising price of BTC.
The distribution deal with swiss pharma will change the bottom line. Hence, the re-rating. No details on financials other than the total number of units and retail value. Swiss pharma will be getting this as wholesale, so MXC won't be getting the 41m. But for sure EBITA will improve, as well as EPS. Key question is are they now profitable and self sufficient, which means no need to load debt on B/S and if they do want to expand or accelerate what they are doing, then they will get better debt facilities based on their improved rating. Currently modelling some scenarios as we speak, so may well top up depending on what the excel says! GLA!
Opened a small position based on my investment in KNB. I have to admit having reviewed the recent investor presentation, last months financial update and today's RNS. Wow. If this company can execute on a few of the items its looking at, then the MKtCap is going to only go up. Unfortunately given the world we live in, neurological disorders are only just going to increase. Then you include Artemis-c and its treatment of Covid-19 patients. That is quite exciting and understandably why the SP spiked. Very excited having read the presentation and materials. Will do more DD and may well add more. In my experience of pharma is generally risky especially small companies, given they are very capital intensive due to R&D and cost of clinical trials to get approval, as well as the manufacturing and distribution costs. Also big risks, if trial is unsuccessful and unexpected side effects. So by no means a slam dunk. But very excited, especially with the timetable for this coming year. Hence, we should be getting regular news.
Congrats to those who held overnight. I sold out yesterday and banked my profits, but glad to see this is still going up. Shame that others who have also sold now have a bitter taste in their mouths. Come on everyone, we're all here to make money. And for those who sold yesterday, assume you banked a nice profit. In my years of trading, 100% rises are not sustainable and it never goes up in a straight line. Be patient.
Sold my remaining holdings at the close. Almost 10k profit in 24 hrs is not too shabby. Hope it continues tomorrow for all those who are still in. GLA
Mikey - Overreaching with 50p, most would take 40p for a finish. Tomorrow's opening will be interesting and whether similar momentum can be maintained.
Can MXC holders go to the MXC board? Clogging up the board. Problem whenever a share gets popular.
Richar - 50p by end of the day is going to be some rise into the close! You sure you've not partaking too much of Kanabo's product? :-)
Can't even get a quote to sell the remaining shares i have.
That was nasty by the mms
Took out my capital at 45. Left the rest to run. GLA
It already has multi-bagged, taking the offer price yesterday on opening.
This is insane. Sitting on 180% profit in less than 24 hours. Now in a dilemma about top slicing and taking my initial capital out, since logic dictates that there must be a pull back at some point.
now over 100m cap. Happy that i got in yesterday, but prefer slow and steady as opposed to a p&d. Needs news of the pilot and then roll out to Germany (next location). Hopefully soon.
Thanks for sharing. Just listed to it and yes, he sounded really peeved off. I'm sure he'll cope now that his shareholding is worth almost £18m.
Did you do a limit order or a RFQ? If you do just latter at ask, shouldn't have any issues getting filled. I got about 21k in one order without any issues.
Both my brokers won't allow me to trade (IG and HSBC). Which UK brokers offer this?
Both of my two brokers won't let me trade ARB (IG and HSBC). Where to trade?
BNP and Deutsche have risen more than Lloylds since theey are less impacted by Brexit and they have significant IB divisions especially in Fixed Income which have benefited from market volatility and billions of central bank stimulus. Lloyd’s is basically a retail bank predominantly based in U.K. and reliant on the U.K. economy.
