I would like to see us back to the £1 at least before any takeover talks are mentioned.. right now would be a disaster for most here, lets get approvals and decent sales under way then drop the POC kit news so we should be past 150 and heading back towards £2.... then they can start taking takeover bids! DB knows the true value and its his job to work the best deal for shareholders.

There are some nice buys dropping in.. we all know there is plenty of news due (overdue in my book) but if there is anymore info on the credibility of the AZ vaccine claims or Pfizer and Moderna come clean with the truth on the real stats then this will surely tick up 10-20% on that news alone imho. Next week would be perfect for GDR to release approval/sales news.

Fair point LB..my view is he is probably as annoyed as we are regarding the approvals taking this long but DB is a clever fella who knows what GDR can do once we are free to sell

Well i was happy to buy at 1.20 and then at 66 so 48 was a bargain... I'm hoping next week DB might have some good news for us.

AstraZeneca on Monday said one dosing regimen showed vaccine efficacy of 90% when AZD1222 was given as a half dose, followed by a full dose at least one month apart. Another dosing regimen showed 62% efficacy when given as two full doses at least one month apart. The combined analysis from both dosing regimens resulted in an average efficacy of 70%.

But on Tuesday, Moncef Slaoui, the head of Operation Warp Speed, the US government's funding programme for vaccine development, disclosed that the subgroup that scored 90% was limited to people aged 55 or below, a demographic with lower risk of developing severe Covid-19, FT reported.

Oxford and AstraZeneca did not disclose the age breakdown on Monday, when results were released.

AstraZeneca shares closed 2.4% lower on Wednesday in London at 7,810.00 pence each. The stock is down 6.0% so far this week.
