North Sea production plus sea lion both high cost vs low cost production in Africa with 2 huge pre production assets and an enviable exploration portfolio
Hopefully big name ceo soon.

Corona and Brent prices won’t last. A 1.7 billion barrel oil field in Uganda plus Kenya are highly valuable assets

It’s not actively for sale nope there’s no need to sell.
But an aggressive t/o would cause sp to rocket as other suitors would be flushed out.
I’m steadily accumulating and ignoring the penny traders

Question is what is ‘low ball’
Before I would have said low was £1.50
Now with sp at crazy levels something well under a quid could go through. But my gut tells me they will want fair value on an asset sale of some sort and will blow of all offers leaving the potential of an aggressive t/o that would have the support of major holders, that’s where mr 12 percent and pals come in

The very fact that sum is being.debated should show what nonsense the sp is.
I assure you the likes of CNOOC and Total will be fully aware of the value

Agreed mkt cap should be min 700 mill even with the issues

It also shows the value of just one of TLW assets is many multiples of the mkt cap

I am simply saying that its the norm - I dont see all other companies having 90% wiped off their valualtion on accout of it

I understand that but we are no different to any other leveraged oil company that is producing

Not sure why everyone bangs on about the debt so much as it’s the industry norm, how do people think the expensive infrastructure gets paid for.
Yes Tullow have debt but so does every other similar producer (Kurdistan excluded)

Not much left to short at this silly valuation
