The existing JV partners, Pilot Energy - 60% interest and Key Petroleum - 40% interest, duly applied to the National Offshore Petroleum Titles Administrator (NOPTA) for a renewal of the permit prior to its scheduled expiry date of 19 February 2020 and are still awaiting a formal response.

Quite simply these numb nuts need to get off their butt and get an appraisal drill done. Yes there would initially be some horrendous dilution and a likely share consolidation but a fully appraised and flow tested Darwin would be far more likely to be farmed in to. Judging by the hints in the last few RNS any drill could also either increase volumes or test new targets.

If the permit is signed next step is 3D seismic and that ain’t cheap so dilution coming imho
