The app is being trialled this week. There was an indication that we will have the feedback from the trial in short time. I would expect us to hear from the company at some stage next week, if not an indication how the trial is progressing later this week.
Time is of the Essence. There will be no dragging heels here.
SP only dropped the day of the last RNS because of the position Spreadex had taken.
Nice start to the rebound today now that Spreadex have exited their position. Expect this rebound to continue over the next few sessions as we return to where we were on Friday.
We will then await feedback / results of the trial
Dish Integrated with NFS Technology Group in October last year. They are a Leading Point Of Sale Technology Group.
I misunderstood your post this morning as I thought Dish had added a function to PPC advertise on their website.
It is very positive to see that the next phase of the takeaway / delivery section is underway.
The company have been looking to adapt the business model to bring in other revenue streams. They seem to have accelerated the process since the pandemic. ....... it appears they have been innovating and very proactive in this respect. I am sure we will hear from the company soon.
The largest revenue stream for Bigdish will come from advertising. Huge amounts of money exchange hands. There seems to be the first signs that Dish have also been working towards achieving this as a revenue stream too.
Below is a statement the company made in an RNS several months ago :
‘These positive results demonstrate the early success of the Manchester operation. The primary focus for the year is restaurant acquisition and accelerating the growth of restaurant numbers in order to build out a national product. Building a national product with increasing restaurant numbers will enable BigDish to leverage national brands for large-scale marketing partnerships in order to drive consumer acquisition which is integral to the strategic marketing plan. It is anticipated that some of these deals will be monetised and that going forward the sums involved may be more significant than future transactional revenue. BigDish is aware that currently such a positive scenario may not have been considered by its shareholders or observers of the company’
Clearly Dish are telling the market that the small revenues from pre Covid Dine-in model were not their ultimate goal here. We know the company always had greater scope but they have to add restaurant numbers, which is where the Dine-in revenue is generated, to acquire mass. The revenue from adding the restaurants numbers is just a by product of their greater focus.

Getting closer imo
Today Dish have added a full page, 20 restaurants, to both locations Bath and London, that they have been Beta testing for the new delivery / takeaway section.
As we know there were previously, during this trial phase, 1 in London and 8 in Bath.
Three important points of interest to bear in mind ......
- Currently only added enough restaurants to fill one full page, 20 restaurants ( I am of the opinion this is intentional and may be working on additional pages to flow smoothly.
- Restaurants are shown alphabetical and currently London is only showing up to the letter D.
- Only added to the two trail areas, Bath and London.
I am of the opinion they are intentionally slowly rolling this out to iron out any potential hiccups with the Tech, which is quite normal. So much more to come !
I am extremely confident there are so many more establishments to be added and we will start to see those added in the coming days / weeks, along with other areas being added.
Very positive step forward for Dish.
This exciting development being added during a period where the restaurants are effectively still closed but due very soon to re-open for business.
We’ll have an update within the next fortnight imo. So won’t have long to wait to ‘start’ to understand the potential here.

This is just rebounding slowly as restaurants will soon be re-opening, 4th July was the latest update that some establishments will be allowed to open again.
Bigdish as a company have continued to innovate with the Tech team still working in the background.
I have a strong feeling we will see an extremely positive RNS from the company very soon, the announcement of takeaway / delivery section being just one of the new exciting additions Dish have been working on.
We must remind ourselves that just weeks before the lockdown Aidan himself purchased 2 million shares at 3.6p, along with another director purchase. Those purchases were before Covid-19, the company was already working on adapting the business. Finance talks were also taking place, which must have been positive and progressing well, otherwise would Aidan have purchased those shares.
Lots of exciting, positive news to come imo .........
And the timing might be absolutely perfect as we start to see the restaurant sector re-opening.

Trialling with NPH Ltd commencing today. I expect us to hear, or at least have an indication how the trial is going either later this week or at some stage over the course of next week.
I won’t be surprised if another trial announcement commences with another business / company.
I am of the opinion the great advantage with this new project for CTEA, Cov-19, is the urgency. We must promote it to businesses immediately and they must trial it with immediate effect. There is an urgency in the need for such a system and from CTEA point of view there is a window of opportunity that must not be missed.
This is a great commercial opportunity.
Expecting more positive news short term
Hit, you do add great balance, your posts appear to be very well thought through.
However, without wishing to cause a ‘tit for tat’ argument (this board has been plagued with those recently), your recent posts do not see past the current temporary situation we all find ourselves in.
The restaurants will have to adapt their businesses if they wish to survive near term, that is for sure. But they will not have to operate at, for argument sake, 50% capacity for ever.
Your posts suggest 50% capacity for restaurant businesses, social distancing is here to stay. The new normal, and we will live in a ‘new world’ never to experience a packed full restaurant ever again.
I simply do not see this.
Are we ready for the SP to sit at a more sensible level with just approx 5 weeks before we may start to see the restaurant industry re-opening. The business is effectively closed and the SP has been sat around this level for several weeks. I am not expecting an immediate return to the 4.5p level we were trading pre covid, unless some positive news flow is released, but I wouldn’t be surprised if the current SP doubles again as the restaurants start re-opening and our team in Manchester can get back to signing up restaurants to the app again. The SP has already doubled during this lockdown period as the world, not just the restaurant sector, went into panic. We have weathered two months, as a company and as individuals. Just a few more weeks and we may start to see life returning to this share., and our own personal lives. There is the added benefit that the Tech team have continued to work during this period and Aidan has already stated they are working on innovative ways of increasing / changing our income stream. The business will look different post covid. I am personally quite excited about the funding talks that we know have been taking place, and I look forward to receiving more detail and a general update from the company, which could happen any time.
Urbanexboi you raise a valid point and one where us shareholders should expect, no wonder, that Sanj has been engaging with the Chains whilst in this period of lockdown. I expect the management of the majority of the Chains will have continued to work and innovate during this period. Sanj, who is now acting as a consultant on behalf of Dish should have also been working hard and engaging with the chains. If he hasn’t, or has had no success in signing up some more groups / chains during this period then I would expect an RNS informing us shareholders that his services are no longer required. I think some of the comments against Sanj were unfair and unjust when he was our MD and too much was expected of him to be able to do what he is apparently good at, engaging with the chains. He has no other duties for the company now, so no excuses. He either signs up the larger chains or Dish completely part company and hand the responsibility over to someone that can perform.
Let me get this right ........ you can get on a flight with say easy jet packed with say 200 other passages, no safe distancing there , but restaurants won’t open for ages yet according to some ....... doesn’t make sense, none whatsoever. Restaurants will soon be allowed to re-open, customers will be wanting to dine out and our team will soon be back in business. Just need Tom & Co to continue where they left off with signing up restaurants to the app. Not long now imo, give this another few weeks and our SP may start coming back to life.
Radika, with the great progress we were making i am sure you would have been in profit now if it wasn’t for Covid - 19. We touched 4.6p literally weeks before restaurants were temporarily forced to close. The word temporarily is very important, as I am of the opinion with a little bit of patience we’ll be picking up where we left off as soon as restaurants re-open and the team can continue adding new restaurants, especially chains. We were really starting to see early signs of success with the new MD Tom at the helm. The business is effectively closed at present and the SP holding in this region. The SP has doubled from the panic that was caused to the entire stock market when lockdown was announced and I wouldn’t be the least bit surprised if the SP doubles again when the restaurants start to re-opening and Dish are effectively able to work again on adding new restaurants to the app. 3p should be a good base to build on and if Tom demonstrates that him & the team can do the business as they were pre Covid, I would think we’ll soon start to see trading around your average. This has huge potential imo. We are currently on pause, but we won’t be forever.
Aidan starting to promote Dish and the restaurant industry again .......... won’t be long before the team are back in business and signing up restaurants to the app.
The app, and Dish business model will change, the team in Manilla have continued to work towards, most likely accelerated, the changes that will soon become apparent.
This business model is adapting with great emphasis on the revenue stream ;-)

Restaurant’s starting to re-opening in other counties, Poland and Italy today.
There is talk that the larger establishment’s in the U.K. may be able to re-open during June providing they can operate under the new guild lines.
The team will soon be back in business imo
