Ooh..... and up pops the first 2 green lines of the day!
Filtered, you muppet. We are a decent community on here, collectively trying to help each other out. You clearly have no value to add in that process, so why don't you go back to one of your other BBs and abuse them.
Keep it coming investmentboy.
Kindest regards,
Bezzy
The American company, in turn, accused the Georgian government of disseminating false information about the results of the arbitration dispute. The State Oil and Gas Agency and the Georgian Oil and Gas Corporation deny the allegations and urge Frontera to voluntarily comply with the decision of the arbitration court as soon as possible - to pay the Georgian side $ 6 million.
Have a great day, all.
Bezzy
Morning All,
Yes, keysersoze, I though the same, and the google translate function works fine on my computer also.
For those with a caustic posting track record (and one that could do with practising some good English grammar, while they're posting), I will post the article in English too:
Washington expects further expansion of cooperation with Georgia to attract new US investment, US Ambassador to Georgia Kelly Degnan told reporters following a meeting with Natia Turnava, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development .
“I had an important meeting with the minister. Our cooperation covers many areas, which is already contributing to the development of the Georgian economy. Our goal is to help Georgia ensure prosperity in all regions of the country. We have quite extensive and large-scale programs in the field of energy, small and medium production, agriculture and the maritime sector. We work closely with the Minister and the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development and we look forward to further expanding our cooperation to attract more US investment in Georgia, ”said Kelly Degnan.
It should be noted that the statement by the US ambassador contrasts with the recent scandalous accusations of a number of US congressmen against the Georgian leadership. In particular, back in mid-May, Republican senators, members of the Committee on Foreign Relations, Ted Cruz and John Cornin , Congressmen Judy Arrington and Markwein Malin wrote a letter to US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and Finance Minister Stephen Mnuchin , in which they expressed concern about governance issues in Georgia . They pointed to “Georgia’s illegal financial ties with America’s competitors and enemies” (ties with Iran and ties with the leader of the ruling party, Bidzina Ivanishvili with Russia), which, they said, threatens US national security and the interests of American business in Georgia.
“We write to express concern about the deterioration of good governance in Georgia and potential illegal financial activities ... Over the past year, foreign direct investment in Georgia has decreased by almost 50%, and taxes and bureaucratic barriers to Western business have increased ... Once the legal business was ousted, illegal trade took its place, ”the letter said.
As part of the business, the Georgian “daughter” of the American oil company Frontera is mentioned, with which the State Oil and Gas Agency of Georgia recently terminated the contract in connection with violation of obligations, which was confirmed by the decision of the Arbitration Court. The Government of Georgia claims that in accordance with the decision of the Arbitration Court, the Frontera Resources Corporation Georgia significantly violated the contract, which gave Georgia the right to terminate the contract.
(Final paragraph to follow)
...... (bloody phone!)
Anyway, just thought I’d let you know we’ve moved from “Game Over” to “GAME ON!!!!”
Best regards,
Bezzy
Good Evening Star,

Spot on.
Bezzy
Half a penny to a penny? They can Foxtrot Oscar!
Where's Madpunter for a bit of balance here? Come on mate, give us a counter figure.
Bezzy
You spotted that as well, Ziggy? (winking emoji)
Yes, Zib - sadly he's still here - but realised that trying to talk with himself just might be a challenge too far - hence trying to run the other account this afternoon. He'll be back soon...... (not a winking emoji)......
I went for the sane option and filtered out latest creature. But I didn't get any green lines. When I search for the account, it is not there. Not that I'm gutted. Bliss..........
Bezzy
Sounds very reasonable Looed
Can you imagine.....
Dear Looed,
Thanks for your email. I can confirm they're the real deal.
Kind regards,
"JJ"
Thanks Looed,
As you say, he either got them to settle and backed down, or perhaps cut his losses and dropped the case.
Such a shame to see him having his own troubles in court. Makes you want to shed a little tear for him......nah!
Bezzy
Oi, bobrad!
I for one am very grateful for Looed's efforts. So i don't appreciate your unwarranted pop at him when he's working tirelessly sleuthing and keeping us informed as best he can.
See if you don't like it, take some of your own advice and "move on mate".
Bezzy
Not sure that's a great idea. The article was posted on here to garner a reaction. Getting involved and forwarding this on may play into the hands of the original author. Let Zaza do his thing, I say.
Bezzy
....and who would have passed such a document to TW......? Hmm......
Morning Looed,
I agree with the sentiment and would have no problem pulling my posts down - but that's been done already.
However, I'm pretty sure the ratbag will have retained a copy for himself so I'm not sure you can prevent him doing what he likes with it (however misguided that may be).
Bezzy
"Zaza" (obvs) - facepalm moment!
Morning bugsy-b,
Good spot. I notice also that it jumps from 1.2 on the previous page to the 1.8 you reference. So here's a thought - is this the document in its redacted form that Zaz said would need to be sorted before it could be released?
Bezzy
Arsenal,
It was a slightly "tongue in cheek" remark from me. But appreciate the response.
Bezzy
Is there a limit to the number of people you can filter on LSE? Just asking for a friend.....
