I think we need to look at the bigger picture, sure there are issues within the PC depts which was the case when I worked there. The underlying problems as a group though are being addressed. For example the plan to merge PCW into Currys stores. Having a single buying department, have one area manager responsible for both brands all common sense thinking. The next step would be to grab back the gaming and mobile markets. Lets face it the execution of both of these in-store has been a disaster. Ask a 12-25yr old where they buy either games or mobiles from and you won't hear Currys or PCW in the answer. Why because we failed to offer the right packages yet HMV managed to step from music into games, you see successful retails such as Car-phone and Phones for u selling hundreds of the things. So why can't Currys/PCW the answer is in the execution within the shops they don't need the bloke who flogs TVs all day or Mary from the white goods they need a dedicated sales team for either department switched on and focused on winning business. Th
